“WHO in hell is running Disney these days???

I work with Disney here in Hollywood. The first time you get to the lobby, an ugly tranny greets you at the door. That’s just a taste of what’ it’s like..

Pastor Martin Niemöller

First they came for...
Then they came for the trade unionists
And I did not speak out
Because I was not a trade unionist
Then they came for the Jews
And I did not speak out
Because I was not a Jew
Then they came for me
And there was no one left
To speak out for me

The key here is NOT ‘who they came for’ but the fact there’s a ‘THEY’ that feels the innate right to do the sorting.

In our time, that’s Biden, his goons, his FBI thugs, and a broken ‘justice’ system. Listen to his
speech last night and you can hear it. The ‘powers’ are becoming the ‘they’. The people they’ll come for in this iteration of history and horror is ‘conservative Americans’.

Biden’s speech was making the case we are ‘less than human’. That’s a key and a tell.

It could just as easily be ‘blacks, or Jews, or Irishmen, or shopkeepers etc.) The horror is ‘the sorters’...

"I take in humor."

You take in: a denial of hell as extant, a denial of Christian redemption as the only means to avoid hell, and it's all prettied up with Hollyweirdos who long ago sold their souls; and then you punch yourself in the face on a Constitutional conservative website about how much you loathe people who call you out on your devotion to atheist pop culture.

And yeah, Aubrey Plaza is simply slightly punching above her weight rather than working Hollywood & Sunset. Give it time.

BWAHAHAHAHAHA

You don’t have any idea what you’re talking about. Have you seen the show? Then you don’t know what’s in it.

I’ve been dealing with you idiot constantly condemning “Christians” all my life. It’s like you clowns follow me to find out what I like so you can protest it. Here’s 4 things I’ve learned about in the DECADES you fools have been whining:

1 - You’re all afraid of facts and joy. Truth and other people’s pleasure terrify you, which is why you must condemn everything
2 - you’re excellent contra-indicators, if you guys start whining about it people should check it out, it’s probably quite good
3 - you’re powerless, everything you complain about does fine. Since the idiot crusade against rock and roll in the 50s you guys just can’t stop ANYTHING
4 - none of you are actually Christians. You talk a big game, and cast a lot of shade, but in reality you’re just pathetic attention whores who have to tear others down to feel good about yourselves

As for Aubrey you do realize this year she’s had 3 movies and 2 TV shows come out, producer credits on 1 of each. And this is a rather typical year for her. She is a very successful and talented actress, and successful producer. You’re the one that’s gonna wind up working the corner. You’re already an attention whore, straight cash is right around the corner.

Another example is one of Peter Jackson’s early efforts, the muppet-style film MEET THE FEEBLES (1989). The movie poster critic quote was “Hilariously vile…!” His early films WERE hilariously vile (laughing one minute, rolfing the next) and would shock a bunch of LOTR fans if they saw them.

Feebles is SO weird. Yeah, I sometimes wonder who at New Line looked at his movies and said “yeah, he can totally do Lord of the Rings”. I mean Heavenly Creatures is actually a very good film, but nothing in his pre-LOTR catalog says “give this guy a bunch of money to make an epic trilogy”.

Well, I’ve never forgotten the zombie baby in DEAD ALIVE, or the zombie lungs/guts who prayed not to be lawnmowered! He was very effective with tiny budgets, maybe that’s what drew them.

He definitely gets every dollar on the screen. It was shocking to me, I got turned on to Bad Taste in 1989 or so. Then the news came out he got the green-light for LOTR and I was all “Mr I Am Reborn is gonna do LOTR?!” (my favorite scene in Bad Taste) In my head he was basically New Zealand’s Lloyd Kaufman (I hadn’t seen Heavenly Creatures yet), a guy making really fun, really stupid, really cheap movies. Then news started filtering out who else was involved, especially the painters, and things they were doing and I was more open to it. But there was a definite few months there when I was sure it was going to come out Lord of the Troma (LOTRoma? something).

I don’t recommend those early movies to many because they are so over the top, lol. But they were good-hearted in their own way. My parents took me to FRITZ THE CAT, etc. so I was raised on offbeat entertainment. Different parenting era back then (60’s-70’s).

My mom took me to see The Godfather, I was 3, she couldn’t find a babysitter. Other than a life long love of mob movies I’m completely unaffected ;) By the time I hit age 10 I was allowed free access to mom’s George Carlin albums. She was a big believer that the world was big, and complicated, and beautiful, and nasty, and her job wasn’t to filter it for me, but teach me how to deal. Maybe that’s why I hate the condemning crowd so much. They’re so “don’t look don’t look” and I was raised under “but you might learn something”.

Of course maybe the Teachers Unions will demand they show this to all el/hi students as they are mostly an important recruit into the Army of Satan.

Yeah it only managed 8 seasons. If it wasn’t for those gripers it would still be on the air today. Good lord that piece of crap ran 8 seasons.

Aww come on it was funny! At its best anyway. You don’t see actual farce with slapstick on TV anymore. It takes too long to prepare.

I guess. Maybe. I don’t know at this juncture it’s so easy to write off all the jiggle shows. But Ritter was a comic genius with immaculate timing. So there probably was more to it than Suzanne Somers not wearing a bra.

Yeah farce and physical comedy are mostly dead. Although What We Do in Shadows does dabble. And Archer, but that’s animated so physical comedy plays differently.
