Some rescue operation; it was practically "kill 'em all and let God sort them out."

Utter nonsense. I've seen videos of the Russian military helping civilians in Mariupol that were able to escape from the Ukrainian army. The Russians didn't storm the steel mill, They surrounded it, forced a surrender and that spared civilian lives.

Blaming the Russians for Ukrainian military using civilians are human shields is like blaming the Israelis for civilian deaths when the Palestinians to the same thing.

You can try to pin civilians on the Russians in this war but the Russians have minimized civilian causalities to far great extent then we do implement one of our shock and awe campaigns.

Nothing you're claim squares to the facts or with the reality of war.

You have Russian Derangement Syndrome. It's the time of hatred much like anti-Semitism and racism that blinds you to any objectivity about Russia or Russians.

Most people who are rational aren’t giving Russia a pass. They also aren’t buying the Ukraine propaganda.

We can’t just forget the videos of McCain and Graham, purposely whipping up Uke soldiers to attack Russia over the years. We know there has been a lot of provocation by western leaders to get this war going. We also can’t ignore the horrible treatment Russians in Ukraine have been dealt by their own government. Zelensky promised to fix that, but he didn’t and it is not hard to guess why.

We also know it was entirely not necessary because their were attempts by many to resolve the issues without war. The west urged Zelensky to ignore any attempts to solve the issues.

Who wins or who loses is irrelevant and certainly should be none of our business because we have grave issues needing attention in the US. We are in no way financially able to keep shoveling billions to a country across the globe that is none of our business except for the corrupt politicians using that place as a playground for wrongdoing and global domination.

+++++ The Brits know the Russians and Russian aggressions through the last 300 years better than we do/ in USA. They are closer to the (war) action.

Their foxy female dumb TV presenters mention taking out the UK lots more than the USA targets. Via hypersonics of course.

I'd much, much rather be on Russia and Putin's side of this than Biden and Soros' side, which is the side you're on, diametrically opposed to an American First foreign policy.

But, I know you can't refute the facts so all you have is name calling. That's a characteristic of leftist, not a conservative.

Time for you to answer a few questions rather than throw out insults:

Do support the billions of dollars of tax money we're pouring into this war?

Do you agree with Donald Trump that we should have helped negotiate an end to this war months ago?

Do you agree with sanction war with Russia, particular on Russian oil, that is driving energy prices and inflation to record levels?

Do you think it was the right to decision for US taxpayers to train and fund neo-Nazis in Ukraine?

Do you agree with the decision during the Obama regime to foment a revolution in Ukraine that set off a civil war there?

Do you agree with the actions of Kamala Harris when she teased NATO membership for Ukraine in the weeks before the war started?

Do you agree with the decision of the Biden regime not to listen Russia's security concerned it came to us with in December in an effort to stop the is war from occurring?

And, you're clearly with profiting from this war, a globalist, neocon and have Russian Derangement Syndrome.

I have no problem with Russia. I do have a problem with revanchist vatniks and their enablers in the West, including people like you who go positively apoplectic at even the slightest suggestion that Russian boots on the ground might've gone rogue OR a suggestion that Russia's motives for this war (as articulated by its diplomats) are completely contradicted by the relentless revanchist vatnik puff pieces shovelled out 24/7 across Russian media.

Worse, you believe and repeat BIDEN REGIME propaganda. I'd much rather be aligned with Russia, even though I'm not, than with Biden regime.

LOL. I don't live in America, or follow American news. Your political schism is entirely self-inflicted.

And, it's the result of two core factors:

1. an entirely masochistic insistence on using corruptible paper-based and postal electoral practices instead of modern ID&V-assured digital voting system BECAUSE YOUR POLITICIANS KNOW THAT HAVING THOSE SHITTY PRACTICES STILL IN USE MAKES IT MUCH EASIER FOR BOTH SIDES TO COMMIT ELECTORAL FRAUD; and
2. A political system that's almost entirely created and optimized for the benefit of - and funded by - families, dynasties, big businesses, and offshore interests. JUST LIKE UKRAINE.

Mariupol was the home base of the Azov regiment, which Western media outlets for years before the war were exposed as neo-Nazi.

Still doesn't come close to providing an excuse for the Russian Special Military Operation. In fact, Russian sources didn't advertise a key aspect of MANY of those Western sources - the SCALE of Nazi involvement in Azov and other batallions... because Russian proxies were EXAGGERATING it.

One example is from USA Today - a year into the 2014-2019 active conflict, it reported that Azov had 900 members and Andriy Diachenko, a spokesman for the Brigade, admitted that 10% to 20% of the group's members are Nazis. Less than 200, out of a 900 strong force. There's no way a number THAT SMALL was doing enough damage to justify the annexation of three Ukrainian oblasts with a combined population of over 8 million.

Another example, CVV News, interviewed people in queues around the block to join their nearest civilian protection brigades, which included Azov in some places. The vast majority had no far right connections at all, and were simply pointing out that if their local groups were ultra right wing like Azov BUT were already armed and trained, and accepting voluntees, it's not as if they had viable alternatives.

So just so we're clear on this - when Russia picks up on people in Azov as if they're all nazis, what they're doing in effect is calling ANYONE who signed up to civilian defense of their own neighborhood a nazi, if Azov happened to be involved in the civilian defense. At no point, anywhere between February 2013 and February 2022, did Azov have more than 3000 members in it.

Doesn't it bother you AT ALL that a force that never had more than 3000 people in it, and where fewer than 600 were confirmed Nazis, has been promoted by Russia as a Nazi force SO POWERFUL that it ran all of Ukraine and was so prolifically active that it was necessary to send over 100,000 troops into Ukraine and then attempt to take over every town and city in South Ukraine?

Yes I support the US spending 70-100 billion in Ukraine every year to defeat the Putin gangster and his crew. Get back to me this coming March when Putin is dead or deposed. This stooge’s time is running out.

Then, become a Democrat because most conservatives don't.

Putin never would have gone in if we hadn't stuck our nose in Ukraine, setoff a civil war and turned into a threat to Russia.

Russia didn't have to be our enemy. We made it our enemy. And pushed it into an alliance with China. If you support all that, you can go to hell.

I repeat, I don’t have any derangement.

My home country has been threatened with a land invasion and even nukes by the REGIME in Russia, and its military spokespersons, and its media. If I thought they were simply doing it for theatrical reasons I’d shrug it off.

But i don’t think they are doing it for shits and giggles. Some of them are deadly serious. And their incessant randomised mission creep in Ukraine doesn’t exactly help.

Initially Putin and his commanders insisted this’d be a moderate mission attacking only military targets, but they’ve sonde hit every large city in Ukraine with rockets, killed over 100,000 people, flattened at least three cities, propelled over 8 million refugees into eastern Europe, and are forcibly occupying whole regions.

It’s a war of occupation with a side order of industrial scale ethnic cleansing, presented to useful idiots as if it was only a peacekeeping exercise.

Plenty of Russian people decided that this level of insanity coming from their own totalitarian REGIME was going too far, before Putin and co made it a criminal offence to even call it what it is.

I’m with THOSE Russians, the ones who were calling bullshit on their own government’s lies from day one.

I live in the UK. I had family whose interpretation of “free love” went as far as screwing each others’ kids and anybody in the community who said it was wrong got ostracized.

Basically, it was a cult.

Putin’s revanchism has many cult-like aspects that I recognise from direct experience. And, one of them is the fervent belief that wanton invasion and destruction is completely fine so long as the Dear Leader says it is needed to make Russia great again and erase the ‘mistakes’ of the 1990s.

Another trait is, anyone arguing against the Dear Leader is a heretic.

It’s that cult mentality that’s the problem. Putin and his acolytes CANNOT tolerate any criticism of the mission at all. That’s why holding a blank card up in protest at the invasion of Ukraine can get you a lengthy prison sentence.

Russia is a great country that’s totally in thrall to a revanchist cult that punishes dissent with fifteen year prison sentences.

Russia’s wholesale capture by that cult is just as bad as Afghanistan and Iran’s capture by Islamic fundamentalism.
