The most accurate poll of the race had Palin losing head to head with Pelota while Begich was consistently FAR ahead of her. That’s what played out. It’s laughable to think that the people who wanted Begich but couldn’t stomach Palin would have done anything different without RCV.

The people who liked Begich but didn’t like Palin’s antics would have done the same.

We’ve seen this game play out in other States without RCV.

Alabama is the most recent example. The Republicans there rejected Roy Moore and allowed a leftist Democrat to get elected. Two years later, when offered a conservative Republican without the baggage, they elected him by a landslide.

Todd Akin is another example.

That’s the reality. YOUR brand of Republican, (Palin, O’Donnell, Angle, Akin, Moore) loses and loses consistently, even in bright Red States. There were members of the moron class pushing Amanda Chase over Youngkin in Virginia, when the same thing would have played out there.

We need candidates who are conservative AND can win, not celebrity grifters who play only to the base without regard for crossing the finish line.

DeSantis is a great example of what we need. That’s “my type of Republican.” I guess he isn’t yours.

Roy Moore would have won if Turtle McConnell had gotten behind him. Moore would have made a great US Senator. RINO establishment types always hated him.

We disagree. Palin would have won head-to-head. Palin easily beat Begich twice with Republican voters. Again Polls do not decide elections. Most Polls are push polls to influence voting. Palin would have easily won.

Every example you give had no Establishment (RINO) support, in fact they actively worked against them.
