A federal judge ruled yesterday that the city of Louisville, Kentucky, cannot ban a Christian photographer from limiting her wedding photography business to opposite-sex couples. In the lawsuit which Petapixel has previously reported on, photographer Chelsey Nelson challenged a Louisville law that required her to take photographs and blog online for same-sex weddings.
Louisville’s 20-year-old “Fairness Ordinance” prevents discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation. However, the lawsuit, filed on behalf of wedding photographer Chelsey Nelson by the conservative advocacy group Alliance Defending Freedom, alleges that the city’s law infringes on Nelson’s freedom of religion and speech.
Beaton ruled that the city can not ban the photographer from limiting her wedding photography business to opposite-sex marriages and can not prohibit her from explaining her religious beliefs on her website and blogs, reports The Washington Times.

Any person providing non-essential artistic works should be free to deny producing a work that is contrary to what they approve of, not due to what manner of person the customer is, but the manner of what the work is for, just as a commercial recording artist should not be forced to write a song celebrating what they abhor.
The problem is that refusing to be complicit in the celebration of a homosexual wedding is treated as a matter of race, which homosexuality is not since it relates to behavior, which race does not equate to (though a culture does), even though the same service would be denied of a straight person asking for a work for the purpose of celebrating homosexual events.

If you read the article you would have found that she didn't hire or fire anyone. This was all preemptive. She did it to make sure she wouldn't have to hire homosexuals. Nobody came to her looking for service.

That’s racism! You must serve every customer with courtesy and a smile on your face, regardless of smell, behavior or reaction of your other customers. And you must have a BLM sign prominently displayed in your front window, so they’ll know where to throw the firebombs at after they’re done looting you. Not really. The Court was mealy-mouthed and evasive about actually ruling on the constitutional rights of business owners and addressing the obvious crux of the issue. They just said that the Colorado “rights” commission was too mean to Jack Phillips. If they had been nicer with their fascism, they would have been in the clear.
Jack Phillips still can’t make custom wedding cakes for ANYONE because he won’t make one for two fags, thanks to the Supreme Court not doing their job.

She was afraid to market openly. That’s exactly the goal of this tactic (sue people for not performing services for your personals perversion ceremony) is to make every business scared to death to refuse any pervert anything for fear of being sued into bankruptcy.
Everyone knows that even if you successfully defend your business, the legal cost will destroy you.
This is terrorism using our screwed up legal system that allows and even encourages this.

It’s really not that simple when the gaystapos has targeted the business in the first place. If the vendor does a bad job, it only gives them more ammunition to sue, and claim the bad job was done because of bias.
