I get that they probably can restrict carry in public buildings etc. but I seriously doubt SCOTUS is going to allow restriction on a public street or in all parks. Between Times Square and Central Park that is a huge area of Manhattan.

My basic point is that,although I'm no Constitutional scholar (or even a lawyer),it's pretty obvious that the Rat Party's strategy is when one of their infringements is slapped down (like a couple of months ago) they're ready with a dozen new ones with the assumption that they'll be allowed to remain in place for a long time before being struck down. It's my understanding that New York State enacted these new laws within hours of their SCOTUS defeat.
