Former President Donald Trump suggested FBI agents were reckless with classified documents during the raid at Mar-a-Lago "perhaps pretending it was me who did it."
Trump's latest comments about the FBI search at his Florida home were posted Wednesday morning on Truth Social.
"Terrible the way the FBI, during the Raid of Mar-a-Lago, threw documents haphazardly all over the floor (perhaps pretending it was me that did it!), and then started taking pictures of them for the public to see," Trump said.
"Thought they wanted them kept Secret? Lucky I Declassified!"
The Justice Department in court papers Tuesday said it had evidence that classified documents were deliberately concealed from the FBI when it tried to retrieve them from Trump's Florida home.
The DOJ released a photograph of some of the records found inside Trump's home. The Daily Mail reported that the bombshell photo showed papers -- many marked "top secret" -- on the carpet of the Florida mansion during the Aug. 8 search.
Trump wasn't the only person to comment on social media about the photo.
"Staged photo of declassified papers protected by the U.S. Secret Service. Nothing was available digitally - like Hillary had. Stop just swallowing the government’s constant spin. Do journalism," former Acting National Intelligence Director Ric Grenell tweeted.
"The Biden FBI staged a dishonest photo with purportedly classified material, with the approval of the Biden DOJ, and submitted it to a court to try to make Trump look bad. These agencies are irredeemably corrupt," Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton tweeted.
Trump has said all the documents at Mar-a-Lago had been declassified.

Don’t we all have important documents spread across the floors of our bedrooms?? Why it’s the most natural thing in the world!
Even though I have a home office, I keep all my bank statements on my bedroom floor, for easy review.

Notice the documents are arranged in the same orientation, not just randomly thrown around. In this way you could read the “classified” on them. Pathetic attempt.
Apparently, a box of TIME magazines is now ‘classified documents’.
If the so-called “classified” files in that photo were taken out of storage boxes by FBI agents, frivolously arranged on the floor by agents, photographed by agents, then handled again by agents to put them back in the storage boxes for transporting, my question is, did those FBI agents have the proper level of security clearance required to even rifle through those boxes, and handle “classified” files and documents? Where’s that proof? Where’s the proof that none of them opened any of those so-called “classified” folders, and read any of the contents? And please Mr. Jack-booted thug, don’t tell me I’m supposed to trust you, because that ain’t happening!
I thought the same when I saw the documents “posed” for pictures. Who is leaking this crap anyway? I guess it’s no long leaks, but rather direct attacks on Trump. They are not hiding their politics anymore.

Well, if Trump had taken my advice and not only declassified but also released the documents to the public while still in office (released them himself, not simply ordering an underling to do it), then none of this would be an issue.

I’m not sure, but it appears to be a box of framed covers of the magazine. Appears to be the Oval Office with presumably President Trump.
Trump probably handed those out to the Chinese and Ukrainians when he would make a deal with them through his crack-smoking son and he’d get his 10%. So evidence for sure of his crooked deals.

It is so sad how horribly compromised the justice department has become. It is as if this regime is begging for civil unrest.....
