You still can’t convince me that either A/C or heating doesn’t kill a battery charge by 50% of normal range. Those take a LOT of energy.
“Joe Biden’s push for electric vehicles does not take into consideration that the U.S. depends on China for the components for building batteries.”
I think the “big guy” is completely aware that the CCP will get a LOT of business from EV’s.
EVs make sense for light driving around town - until electricity prices skyrocket.
Yesterday I saw a tow truck in Fresno lifting a Tesla onto its bed. I laughed out loud. When EVs run out of charge they must be towed to a charging station.
This is a really good way to measure outright stupidity. So now we know what percentage of the populace is outright stupid.
Electric bills in my area have tripled from approximately $200 to $600 locally. Most of the bills are offset charged by the providers.
hmmmmm....At what point do you choose between heating and air and charging you car?
What will the charges be in comparison with gasoline?
Is the price of gas being forced up by the Biden administration to mold public opinion towards electric cars?
Electric makes some sense inside city limits, in light vehicles. Outside of city limits, other power sources are necessary.
Collectivists, ever wise, can only think one size fits all.
Even forgetting about trucks, there’s probably 20 years of infrastructure upgrades needed to make electric cars as a feasible replacement.
Except most of the same advocates for electric cars want to use green energy to charge electric cars. That’s a complete nonstarter unless the goal is to keep people locked up at home or reliant on public transportation.
If there was an initiative to build more nuclear power plants and to come up with a plan to make it possible to recharge an electric car’s battery 5 to 10 minutes, then maybe you could have an adult conversation about switching to electric vehicles.
We’re decades away from that point right now and the government should be focused on increasing output of fossil fuels. The government views us as subjects and not citizens.
No one has come up with a rise in electric prices since electric will become rarer. And then there will be the road tax. The there will be the rise in insurance for these fire bombs.
Then your homeowners will go up, too.
Then there's the fact that these vehicles will do absolutely nothing to change the climate.
OK , the clown has spoken
actually I find it absolutely frightening if it is true, I can believe it though, after how people fell for this "pandemic" crap, they will fall for anything, especially if they have a degree
Someone gives me $40,000 that must be spent on an EV. I would buy a Hyundai Kona. It has very good range for the money

50% of the sheeple will always be in the lower half of relative intelligence.
About a third will be worse than that. Just proved it.
Government involvement in market trends ….is the problem.
An EV would be perfect for my soon to be ex-wife. She lives and works in town, plus she works 3rd shift. Her commute is less than a mile. Most shopping is less than 10 miles. Other shopping is 25-30 miles.
That also happens to be the same percentage who think President Retard’s failures are wonderful.
Not a coincidence
OR a John Deere working an 800 acre field of soybeans or alfalfa.
Put their skin in the game from what Obama says. Pray they last at least 48 hrs on this temporal realm from the crapstorm they placed upon the people.
