Donald Trump, who said two weeks ago "the temperature has to be brought down" in this country, is raising it to heights that would burst the thermometer.
He’s gone on what we would call an angry tweetstorm, if he was still on Twitter, pumping out three dozen postings and repostings on his far smaller Truth Social app.
Then Trump drops the hammer: "REMEDY: Declare the rightful winner, or, and this would be the minimal solution, declare the 2020 Election irreparably compromised and have a new Election, immediately!"

I am a die hard Trump fan but I have to agree with you. He should hammer on the economy, the border, inflation. All republicans should be hammering on those topics, all the time. That will win elections.
You’re too worried about optics and one election. It doesn’t matter who wins if elections are fixed and votes don’t actually matter. Any politician who will let that slide isn’t going to save the Republic. Giving Mitch power won’t fix anything. You want Trump to just follow along so the Repukes can sneak back into power. You are missing the point, in my opinion. This is so much bigger than one midterm election. This is why we get this garbage politicians. You would rather someone stay quiet and eek out a win and then stay quiet for the next 6 years (since that’s apparently how you get elected). Hard pass

Yea, stolen elections are sooo yesterday. We need a majority so we can pretend to be against Biden and his policies. Trump is exactly right. People have such short memories. No One was talking about China, supply change, How B.S NATO is in 2015. Trump beat the drum to death until people listened. This is what actual opposition looks like. Very, very uncomfortable. Unfortunately there aren’t more people doing what he’s doing.
Yes sir, the elections were fixed. They can dial up any victory they want with algorithms within the software and onsite updates if needed. If 2020 isn’t addressed, we are in a permanent state that the USSR was in from Stalin to Gorby.
BTW, Gorbachev was a WEAK leader, he presided over a bankrupt nation. The West did not win the war, we ran them out of money. Now the same beast we unleashed onto them, is attached to our 6.
I’m a very conservative person who likes to win elections. Winning is my top priority. I don’t worship politicians, especially if they are having a negative impact on us winning. Right now Trump is hurting our chances of winning in 2022, and if you can’t see that, you need to take off the rose colored glasses.
Right now, my priority is getting the House and Senate back in November, not endlessly rehashing the stolen 2020 presidential election. That battle’s been lost and it’s not going to be won now in 2022.
He may have concluded that because of the total incredible B.S. level, he is unelectable — too messy for the rules of the Kabuki Theatre that beltway politics has become: and may as well have some fun and rub all their noses in it.
Who knows? A major sheisstorm just might do some good.
Maybe he’s a lot smarter than anybody thinks....

It is not a matter of whether or not the election was stolen (it was). It is a matter of moving on because if he can win again he can do a lot to prevent it from ever happening again. Right now he is not playing with a strong hand. He needs to put the country’s current problems first. There is much for him to run on, but not the past election.
