President Biden’s party colleagues believe they have a strong chance of holding on to control of the Senate, at least.
That’s partly because Republican candidates are struggling in key states such as Pennsylvania, Georgia and Arizona.
It’s also because the Democratic Party’s poll ratings in general have ticked up, as have Biden’s. The president recently hit 44 percent approval, the highest point in a year, in a Gallup poll.

While I want to win everything it’s important to recognize that as long as you win either the senate or house it’s effect is mostly the same as winning both when you are the minority party. Especially if you can win it without a bunch of losers like Liz Cheney among your ranks.
Give me the House and maybe a loss for Murkowski and a win for Kari Lake and I’d be very pleased.

In California Democrats hold a 2:1 advantage in registered voters. In this state they will continue their one party rule. They blame inflation and high gas prices and every other hardship on Trump and the Republican party in general.
California transformed from Reagan Country to an Obama/Biden/Kamala orc stronghold when the demographics of this state changed. And that was due to legal immigration, the kind that the geniuses in the GOP still support. Right now 27% of California’s population are foreign born. And regardless of income and education they overwhelmingly vote to the left of the dwindling natives.

We got the same propaganda every election cycle at this time of the year. Then, media and pollsters are forced to become slightly more realistic as the election nears so they don’t lose all of their credibility with their core audience.
After listening in part to Biden’s rant tonight about banning assault weapons, I’m now of the opinion that both sides are trying to outdo each other to see who can lose the midterms.

Fake polls are meant to provide cover for the targeted cheating that is about to take place - so there is no discrepancy later between what the polls predicted and the outcome of the election.

Foreigners have changed California, New York, and New Jersey indefinitely for the foreseeable future.
I’m north of you in Oregon, where we went extreme left-wing starting in 1988.(The state has always had a substantial liberal faction)
Up here it isn’t the foreigners, its the GD education system and west coast media.

It was a combination of home grown lunatics and people from “your neck of the woods.” They both contributed equally in my opinion.
For instance the last good mayor of Portland was a democrat named Frank Ivancie, the progressives hated his guts and got rid of him in 1985. He ended his political career as a Reagan democrat.
It is very weird that at the peak of the Reagan Revolution, the left wing west coast resistance was growing and maturing into the behemoth that it is today.
California’s demise into a liberal abyss is directly related to its demographic shift from 76% white in 1970 to less than 35% white today. And that’s largely a result of a Third World invasion from Mexico and elsewhere (India, China, Middle East, Central America). But the liberal white wealthy elites will eventually get their comeuppance by those very same peoples.
