People in PA are stupid enough to approve.
Trump should have just legalized it when he was president. Now Dems nationwide can dangle this carrot in front of voters faces!
Does removing it from the list of federally controlled substances equate to “legalizing” it nationwide?
He sounds like he’s stoned.
This is on the mind of EVERY citizen in Pennsylvania until the fill their gas tank or go to the grocery store. Fetterman is completely out of touch. I’m now predicting Oz by 4% in November’s election.
When are they going to drop it from a schedule one drug? Check California taxation on legal weed and the hoops legal weed growers have to jump through. This year a pound of cannabis dropped from $1100 to 400 a pound.
Market is flooded so a LOT of growers will go belly up.
Gotta have that tax money, it’s just a matter of time.
Funny that Fetterman wants to be the FACE of PA. He is nothing but a STUPID GOON THUG. What does that say about the people in PA. Yinz People in PA, WAKE THE HELL UP!!!
Pennsylvania Ping!

Yeah, a different poison. But a place holder for a majority nonetheless.
I can imagine Oz has similar ideas on pot.
Yes because this is such a pressing matter don’t you know. 🙄
It worked for Murphy in NJ. I know a couple of people who thought he was a terrible Governor but voted to re-elect him specifically because of his stance on pot. Sad and pathetic but true.
Exactly.
It should be a state issue.
Just like o if the Democrats gave up on the gun grabbing.
In both cases, the single-issue (or nearly so) voters would be less likely to come out.
LOTS of 2nd amendment types I know who *only* support the Republican party because the Democrats are so nuts about guns.
And we have knuckle-dragging drug warriors on the conservative side who trot out every idiotic reason for regulating cannabis and and even a few goons who would approve a second attempt at prohibition. It they would just STFU and legalize it, it would cost a LOT of votes to the Democrats.
Regardless of what one thinks of ‘single-issue’ voters, once they get into the booth their vote counts as much as anyone’s. Lots of Republican votes come from RKBA people who dislike a lot of the platform. Lots of Democratic votes come from people who want to be able to buy weed, and even use a credit card to do so.
IMHO drugs are not a federal issue. What a person puts in their body is no business of anyone unless and until they drive or do something that deprives another person of life liberty or property, just as what any of us carry on our persons or in our homes is likewise so.
I’ve had a different poison all my life - Spector, Heinz, Santorum, Toomey. I’m used to it.
Well said!
This is how you get Trannies to be your Health Secretary.
Comrade Shrek wants ALL drugs legalized!
People in PA are stupid enough to approve.

I lived in the Reading and then the Lancaster areas in the late 60s and both were conservative. Are they still?
If so, I’m sure they are a drop in the bucket compared to Philadelphia and Pittsburgh.
