I just realized that I never understood the humor in that Rush-assigned moniker until I saw it written out on the computer screen.
I always thought it was some sort of allusion to F. Lee Bailey.
What did Rush used to call Mark Levin? Wasn't it "F. Lee Levin," or something like that?
Anyway I now see that Rush had something else in mind when he said "F. Chuck Todd."
You can make different connections when hearing something than you do when seeing the same thing but written out.
One of these is this:
"I hate little notes on my pillow. Like this morning. ‘We’re all out of cornflakes. F.U.’ It took me three hours to figure out that ‘F.U.’ was Felix Unger. It’s not your fault, Felix. It’s a rotten combination."
