Mitch doesn’t want to win, not really. He wants a nice 50/50 split that keeps him in the driver’s seat for the Senate GOP. In particular, he doesn’t want MAGA Republicans in the Senate. No, he blamed those focusing almost entirely on Trump vs. the issues that the Democrats are vulnerable on. That’s not “blaming Trump.” Even says that in the body of the article...but they could not resist a “juicy” headline.
So sick of people who write headlines like this to create a circular firing squad where one does not need to exist.

Where is the proof of that premise? Don’t show me polls, Ben. I said “proof.”
Look at what he actually said vs. what the headline says. Not quite the same. He does not “blame Trump.” He blames those focusing entirely on Trump and allowing that to take the messaging off of Joe Biden and the Democrats’ failures that they are vulnerable on.
There has not been a single general election held yet.
