China’s state-run Global Times on Friday harangued America and Europe for using coal power to make up for electricity shortfalls, even though China is building coal plants with wild abandon, digging up and importing mountains of coal to fuel them, and making it very clear that China’s industrial goals will not be compromised in any way to satisfy climate activists.
There is a legitimate point to be made about the lunacy of Western societies spending billions on unreliable “green energy,” ruling out nuclear power for pseudo-religious environmentalist reasons, and then frantically turning back to dirty coal when solar panels and windmills prove utterly inadequate for the power needs of modern industrial societies during hot summers and cold winters.
The brutal coal-munching, carbon-spewing authoritarian regime in Beijing is the last entity on Earth that should be attempting to make that point, but the Global Times took a stab at it anyway:

Sheesh, even The Weather Channel shows how bad the pollution is in China.
The ECO-Terrorists in Europe and USA close their eyes to the air pollution coming from Chinese factories and power plants as if air pollution in Asia has no impact.
The Greenies are major hypocrites and Putin’s attacks have shown them to be the cause of major energy price increases.
China is learning from the western propagandists how it is done.
Lie, lie, lie and lie some more!
Gee, didn’t they build about 50 coal fired power plants recently? As for lying, the Democrats have taught them well.

Just like Biden begging Saudis to produce more oil and U.S. producers less.
What would you expect from Chinese communist running dog environmenatists?
I remember when the anti nuke group Ground Zero used to be at the gates of the naval base every Wednesday protesting. After their funding source, the Soviet Union, came apart they disappeared.
The Chinese government is never wrong. Their use of coal is the proper way to use it and they don’t pollute. All other nations are wrong to add to the pollution of the world. Since the Chinese are responsible users of coal and only use what can be recovered by environment in carbon recapture, the west is at fault for the overage the environment can’t handle. Since we can’t handle our pollution, Western nations need to join the a carbon credit system run former western politicians that is traded on Chinese wan to ensure proper accountability for our wrong thinking and need to repent before the UN for our transgressions, and make sure our social credit is above board.
The Chinese are exploiting the weakness of western culture which is a guilt based society. Guilt is used in western culture to maintain social control.
That’s why’s the left is always trying to guilt trip everyone about killing the planet, stirring up racism, and bringing violence the the LGBTQ+ “community”.
The Chinese are using guilt as a weapon to make the west give up their industry and literally their power. After that the CCP wins.
That’s all true.
Why work to destroy an enemy when he’s willing to destroy himself?
“Never interrupt your enemy when he is destroying himself” - Sun Tzu

China is building 100+ brand new coal fired plants right at this moment. Yes, the hypocrisy of Chicoms and American liberals is higher than mount Everest.
How is China destroying itself by resorting to the 2nd cheapest source of energy, coal fired power plants? That gives them cost advantage over expensive green energy in USA.
By the way the cheapest source of energy is hydro power.
Other way around. WE (USA) are destroying ourselves…
Why not? I don’t remember China calling to end the use of coal. Others did.
