So they just eliminated a district? Who would Kinzinger have faced had he not went for re-election? Who determines these redistricting maps? It always seems like a liberal tactic but if so why do Republicans allow it?
Illinois is losing population. For obvious reasons.
So the 2 democrat districts just gobbled up the Republican district? Who made that call? Let guess it was a Democrat...
And apparently Kinzinger is just hunky-dory with it.
But by gerrymandering they keep Democrat control. Shady tactics.
No surprise since he was probably part of the plan in getting this done.
Kinzinger would have had to challenge MAGA guy incumbent Darin LaHood. He chose not to enter the primary. (New IL - CD16)
So he’s going to win repubs over to killing babies, wiping out the constitution and instituting collectivism.
