Georgia Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene (MTG) was swatted for a third time in less than a week on Friday night.

The cops DO know she’s being swatted repeatedly. They need to work something out with her .... maybe she could give someone in the police department (SWAT commander, police chief, etc.) a private number. Set up a code word that only MTG & designated police personnel know.
Swatting call comes in:
~ police call MTG on designated, private phone - she gives them the “code” word meaning all is ok - no SWAT response, but send two* officers just to check on things in general.
~ No answer - SWAT responds.
~ No code word if phone is answered by MTG or it’s not MTG who answers, SWAT responds.
Just an idea to keep police resources from being wasted & also putting MTG in danger. The goal of swatting is to get her killed - it’s attempted murder & if they catch the perpetrator(s), that is what the charge ‘should’ be.
MTG is a sitting member of Congress. The local cops should have additional, technical resources (Capitol Police, likely FBI) available to try to catch the perps.
*two officers are the usual to send on certain calls (domestics, for example) & that should apply here.

Yes, GA is red in some areas.. however when it mattered .. to save our country from dem control.. the republican mayor and the republican sec state turned on Trump..refused to consider vote fraud.
Kemp had given loeffler the open seat that belonged to Collins.. she lost that seat to a dem in the election.. and that was the last dem they needed for de control of the US Senate.
I won’t vote for Kemp and Abrams would be a GA nightmare.

Surely you jest? They haven’t even caught no, let me rephrase it, they already knew who deliberately let out the Supreme Court Justice ruling on Roe versus Wade and nothing has been done. Because that person was either a rat judge or left wing clerk. Do you honestly think they even care to catch MTG attackers? I doubt that very much. If you really were to dig dig down deep the tentacles run all the way to Pelosi Schumer schiff, Waters etc. etc. They’re the ones are calling the shots to get this woman killed! The FBI is notorious for crap like this ... IMO they killed John F Kennedy and Robert Kennedy! And I wouldn’t doubt it if they killed JJ Kennedy as well.

There was a time I would’ve dismissed this question/comment as delusional and absurd.
Not any longer.
Police departments need to be be held responsible for making sure they are acting on real information before obtaining and executing warrants. There should be civil and criminal liability.
This country and those people have sunk lower than I ever imagined.
I’d say they have sold their soul to the devil... possessed.. to have a goal to kill anyone in disagreement.
I think their goal is harassment - get her to think being in congress just isn’t worth it and resign. That ain’t gonna work.
Your solution makes sense, as would giving her a police radio, but having to validate the call with police in the middle of the night would be equal in terms of harassment.
Modern technology probably makes it possible for the perps to remain anonymous.
This is all to discourage good people, who have other options in life, from getting involved in politics.

I am not a techie and read an article a while ago about swatting. It highlighted at least two incidents with catastrophic consequences to the innocent swatee. The calls made did not originate in the state of the swat event, and the criminals were never caught.
You would think local PD would post guard at her place and in the background work to catch the swatter. You know, like call up Merrick “Loser” Garland to move some agents assigned to school board meetings to work on it.
They can’t be trusted and that’s a fact.
Yeah well that’s cause we keep telling whoever is doing it that it worked. Stop announcing it.
She gets death threats & harassment pretty much all the time & she’s said as much.
The perps ultimate goal is to get her killed & a yard/neighborhood full of SWAT is a step closer to that goal. As it stands now, the multiple swat calls, night after night have devolved to harassment at this point (sort of like the boy who cried ‘wolf’) and a serious waste of police resources. That’s not to say that something serious couldn’t happen at her home .... cry wolf enough to put all off guard (it’s just harassment again), then send in the professionals to take her out.
If I were MTG, I’d be glad to work out a way not to have SWAT on my doorstep every night, even if I had to wake up & verify I’m “ok”, but to know if they were needed, they’d know to show up.
AND reimburse the county for the cost of mobilizing SWAT each time.
