Granted:

Roe/Wade was bad law and basically unconstitutional, and had to go:

At least 90% of the abortions that happen in the US should not be happening;

Abortion should not be any kind of an industry in the US;

Abortions and tax-payer money do not mix...

==========================

There HAS to be a way to get this issue out of US politics without enabling the demopoop party and all of those machinre politics gangsters.

The real problem here is that the American women are just to stupid to know that it has been turned over to the states, I just saw a man out on the street asking VERY SIMPLE questions to juniors in college question 1. What country is the queen of England from 3 people could not answer, I KID YOU NOT, question 2. What ocean is on the eastern side of the United States AGAIN could not answer, it would be funny if it weren’t so pathetic!! OMG and they want taxpayers to pay for their utter stupidity!!! So I honestly believe that these IDIOT women believe abortion has been BANNED they are clueless, AND they have an abundance of birth control FREE everywhere WTH???

“it is a losing issue for republicans and conservatives”

I thought your type was expunged from FR about 15 years ago. Oh wait, you joined in 2016. Get lost, creep.

At the end of the day, aren’t we talking about two Democrats? Is Caruso pro-life?

Caruso used to be a Republican...Then he changed his party registration...He is now pro-abortion...He was pro-life when he was a Republican...

I’d highly doubt any Republican in LA ever leading any race there…. I admit I’m not on the ground there, but I highly doubt it. Anyone in LA want to weigh in and give an on the ground assessment?

I live in City of Los Angeles...I voted for Caruso in the primary...I will vote for him in November...

I am skeptical that he will win however...By the way, Caruso is a Democrat...He used to be a registered Republican...

Congresswoman Bass will probably win...Her campaign repeatedly linked Caruso to Trump...

Ridiculous...Trump never endorsed Caruso...I do not think they are friends...But, that line of attack worked...In my opinion...

Caruso is rich like Trump...He is also "terrible" like Trump...That message is working with voters in City of Los Angeles...

I think many LA voters agree with Caruso on crime and homeless problems...But, many of them will not vote for Caruso because they think that he is a "Trump clone"...Very unfortunate...

Some people hate Trump so much that they are unwilling to vote for somebody who is "similar" to him...

Voters in City of Los Angeles are liberal...

The notion that Caruso will lose because of abortion issue is a nonsense...

I view it as a phony issue, largely concocted by demopoop criminals who don’t really have any real issues. All they even really claim to be good at is representing victims...

There are always consequences. I’m amazed the “Progressives” did not see any action coming at them when they enacted “ post birth abortions” in MD, VA, and CA.
-“Maryland Senate Bill 669 Legalizes Infanticide Up To 28 Days After Birth”
-“Virginia House Bill 2491, a radical abortion bill that would have allowed abortions to be carried out throughout the third trimester and through to birth“
-“California lawmakers advanced AB2223 bill that would not hold people liable for civil or criminal penalties based on their actions or omissions with respect to a perinatal death. Perinatal is not defined in the bill, but according to legislative analysis, it usually includes up to seven days after birth”

I know this thread is old but I just now got on FR.

You just know that the leftists are ramping up to inciting a 'frenzy' in the electorate regarding abortion. Little 'news' blips are starting to air such as: a poll taken shows...blah blah blah.

The killing centers here in Missouri are gone. Now, suddenly, Missouri "voters" (in a recent poll) say they believe 'access' to abortion should be available. Nevermind that we've really been at the forefront of getting rid of the abomination for years now and had just one facility left, but now suddenly, Missourians (leftists no doubt) are expressing that they want access to abortion.

These people are absolutely rabid regarding abortion and all things depraved. Even though Missouri has been majority repubics for a few years now, nothing is certain going into midterms.

Even though Missouri has been majority repubics for a few years now, nothing is certain going into midterms.

Here's an unpleasant truth. Total abortion bans aren't nearly as popular with Republican voters as the pro-life base would like us to believe.

Restrictions? Certainly. Total bans? Nope. Kansas was a perfect demonstration of this reality.

Roe v. Wade was a very useful foil for Republicans as it allowed Republican politicians to pass extreme anti-abortion measures that they knew would never stand up to Roe. It also allowed more moderate Republican and swing voters to support GOP candidates even if they didn't agree with them on abortion because they also understood the proposed laws would lose to Roe.

Now Roe is history, as it rightly should be, but with this victory comes a changing dynamic with regards to the abortion issue and in many places, GOP candidates who thought they could continue supporting the same right-to-life laws they supported before Dobbs will find themselves in danger of losing elections.

I don’t think Mail In has anything to do with it, LA county is 3 to 1 Democrat... Are things really that bad in LA that you are going to see 1/3 of Democrats cross over?

Yes mail in makes fraud easier, but to say FRAUD is why LA goes Democrat is silly.

Was the Republican ever seriously in a position to win as Mayor of LA??? I am not on the ground there, but if someone there says things have gotten that bad, I want to hear it... otherwise, I’m finding that “oh suddenly the race has shifted to the D” narrative dubious at least.

I think these big city elections are always rigged and stolen. they create the narratives around the rigging so as to support the agenda.
