There are a lot of videos on YouTube (which I think originate on TikTok) of women lamenting how unfair life is once you hit 30 — women become invisible at that point and men stop paying any attention to them. It’s called “hitting the wall”. It makes some women cry when men stop staring.

Doonesbury did a strip a few years ago, expect it was men who become invisible to young women after a few too many birthdays. But they didn’t cry about it.
