Russian offenses for the past few weeks were largely inconequenstial. Claiming abandoned territory in front of Ukrainian lines is not taking or holding territory in any meaningful way. Ukraine is pushing back the south east around Kherson, while their economy and exports are picking up when a global food supply is a concern.

Difficult news, this is still good news for the good guys.

you appear to be one of the most misinformed people that i’ve seen on FR. The Rus territory capture rate has been steady and they have captured a bit of territory in the last two weeks around Kherson. About 300 sq mi remains to be captured in donetsk. and the Rus are getting 1-4 towns/week plus about 5 sq mi/week. so it’s about 60 more weeks to get donetsk if ukes lines don’t collapse and if they can survive winter. the Rus don’t follow a calendar - they minimize their own losses.
