He's come under intense scrutiny nationally and Stigall has spent a lot of time frustrated by the coverage and messaging in the PA Senate race. Today you'll hear a focused, substantive discussion from Dr. Oz and what he says are media manipulations to dispirit and divide Republican support. Julie Kelly from American Greatness continues to unpack the truth behind the Gov. Whitmer kidnapping plot and discusses the dangers of a weaponized DOJ against fellow Americans. Plus Stigall slices and dices Biden's new bribe to pay off $10K of rich people's student loan debts.

Stigall's callers called it a great interview.
I think Oz is finding his stride, but who knows.
Still, the entire Fetterman campaign is modeled off of Biden’s. It’s hide the candidate.

“.. what he says are media manipulations to dispirit and divide Republican support..”
We’ve got some very vocal folks right here on FR trying their best to do just that.

Yes, They’re trying to convince FR people not to vote for Oz. It’s best to IGNORE them. They’re craving attention.
It will be clear to many that Fetterman, regardless of his political views, is not capable of representing Pennsylvanians in the Senate. Oz needs to hit that one hard. It’s nonpartisan. Concurrently, Oz simply needs to campaign on the important issues - the economy, inflation in real terms (groceries, gas, rent), PA energy (oil and gas), crime, and the border invasion.
The leftist media has done their job by heavily editing Fetterman’s speeches. Even then he doesn’t have the ability to articulate. That’s just superficial. What he tries to say is total Marxist drivel. That can be attacked in ads from Oz that show Fetterman’s incoherent speech and with Oz countering Fetterman’s commie ideas with real solutions. Keep it to the main issues. Don’t explicitly say anything about Fetterman’s health, just show it. Two weeks before the election, hammer Fetterman as being a weak mommy’s boy, living in a basement until age 49. Say Fetterman is such a weakling and gutless that he won’t debate. Attack his hoodie gangster look as a fake image to compensate for clinging to mommy all his life. Attack Fetterman being a racist, holding a black man at gun point because he was jogging while black.
Blacks, particularly black men, are ready to vote Republican.
I’m voting for Dr. Oz. It’s obvious you should vote for him if you have a functioning IQ. Just a reminder to all About Kurt Schlicter’s comment in Townhall:
“Refusing to back Dr. Oz now in the general is not making any statement except that you are an emotion-driven BRAT mad because you didn’t get your way.”
IMHO, Oz should never have run. He’s poison. By running this position is being given to Fetterman all too easily.
“It’s best to IGNORE them.”
I point out their repetitive and biased opinions.
Yah, I get it, the guy is not an optimal candidate.
But can you say Fetterman is?
The dem candidate is a nightmare of suck. Just can’t put lipstick on that pig.
What is propping him up is his myth of being a working class, hoodie wearing hero of sorts and hiding in his Joe Biden bunker. Excuse me, his parents basement.
But draw him out and especially on the ISSUES (anyone remember them anymore) and he is toast.
An election isn’t about an ideal candidate, it is a choice between two candidates. Sometimes, it is the better bad choice that wins.
In my mind, that is Oz, Crud Tights, Salza and all.
Can Fetterman even chew after his stroke, just saying?
And while I am here, I have a quick question:
Doesn’t it bother anyone that when a Republican is President and it is a first term mid-term, all we hear about is:
How many GOP incumbents retired.
The historic headwinds the incumbent party faces in a mid-term.
The candidates aren’t what counts, it’s the issues.
Yet when the shoe is on the other foot, none of that matters and it is only the GOP candidate we should focus on? The issues be damned and all that, its just the GOP candidate that matters. Its the beauty contest.
Lets focus on eating of Crud Eye Tes, instead of, you know the issues or the dem candidate.
But hey, the media has to sell that narrative. Let’s all buy into it and complain bitterly later about the agenda media. That is so much more fun than, you know, not allowing the media to remote control us.
I think that may be the case.
Optimal? OZ IS A JOKE... Might as well have Toomey running for a third term.
This guys a fraud, and it’s easily seen by the electorate... this seat will go to Fetterman comfortably.
I know the flappy headed pundits in DC and NYC are feeding this nonsense that Fetterman is a weak candidate, but he’s not, and never was. The guys a very strong candidate.. Those trying to make the argument Fetterman’s the fraud are going to lose the debate.
OZ campaign is trying to sell him as some principled outsider, but he’s neither principled or an outsider, in fact the only thing he’s an outsider of is PA... which is why his campaign is a disaster from top to bottom.
OZ: I’m an outsider
Fetterman: Yep, he is, just moved to PA 8 months ago.
Oz is utterly a fraud, and a phony and the most off brand candidate I’ve EVER seen in nearly 40 years of living in PA for a Republican who’s trying to win state wide.
I don’t agree with Fetterman’s politics at all, but I’ve met him a few times and seen him in action first hand... the folks on here and out in the “consevative” blogosphere trying to cast him as a weak candidate don’t have a clue what they are talking about.. clearly haven’t set foot in their lives in PA, or if they have, haven’t been outside of the Philly/NJ border region.
What issue is OZ going to draw Fetterman out on exactly? Fetterman’s business interests are tied to the WEF and China. He’s a carpetbagger.. He’s part of the hollywood/political elite... OZ believes Gun Control is a health care issue, has advocated for Trans Kids... etc etc.
Go watch the GOP Primary debates, and tell me, honestly, after watching either one of then that you believe, honestly in your heart that OZ has any chance at winning... I don’t care what the DC and NYC political punditry chirp every day, go watch them and honestly tell me you think this guy has a chance in hell at a statewide win.
OZ has no way to draw Fetterman out on any issue, because OZ himself is fraud... He’s a RINO on every level, completely out of touch with the electorate here, and they aren’t going to rally to him no matter what he says... because at the simple end of the day.. he’s UTTERLY INAUTHENTIC. Basically a focus group, talking point parrot at BEST.
Even you, and others here trying to defend the guy, all they put up are.. .at least he’s not the other guy.... That’s Not going to motivate folks to vote for OZ.
This is PA... as a GOP candidate here statewide you can only have any shot at winning if you ABSOLUTELY LOCK UP AND EXCITE THE GOP BASE... and then win a VERY good bit of the independents... and either have a depressed D turnout or peel away D voters.
Trump Did all 3, and even did a 4th in that he brought back disenfranchised voters of both parties.
OZ can’t and won’t even manage the first one here.
If OZ were running for some congressional district out east around Philly or the NJ Border area, I’d say he’d likely win comfortably, but statewide? Snowball’s have better chances in hell. He’s not going to play worth a damn in the parts of the state where a GOP candidate has to absolutely crush it, and I don’t see it happening.
Oz will likely do slightly better than a generic GOP candidate in Eastern PA, and fall well short of a generic GOP candidate everywhere else in the state.
Even Trump can’t polish this turd... When Trump introduced him at his rally in Erie a very noticeable portion of the crowd openly booed OZ.... and this was in a crowd full of Trump’s most motivated supporters.
OZ basically handed PA to the dems... I don’t know who Trump was getting his advice from, but he blew this one. IF Oz loses by less than 5, it will be a miracle.
If PA is handed to the dems, it was by the legislature when they passed mail in voting.
Lets face it, we tend to talk about elections on here as if they still were real. They are not in places that allow mail in voting.
Having said that, I know PA very well and can say that Fetterman is not the candidate you think he is. I don’t know anyone who has dealt within that would describe him as “authentic”.
He is a horrid candidate and one that a dead cat could beat in the current climate.
I get it, you supported the other guy in the primary and he lost. Ok, sorry. But your tone in your post strikes me as a bit bitter.
OZ is going to lose without the fraud. He’s just off brand and out of touch…
As to mail in voting… the state legislature here has been controlled completely by GOP all but 4 years since 1995… that mail in voting stuff was all passed by republicans.
This is what folks who don’t live her don’t get… rhe GoP of PA establishment are just as much a swamp as anything and anyone in DC.
I don’t think you know PA as well as you believe if you think Fetterman is a weak candidate.
39R, 46D 15i. That’s the electorate here… OZ is a non starter here. Even your own posts explain why… best argument folks put forth are “at least he’s not the other guy”…. If you think that’s going to win as a Republican statewide in PA you really are fooling yourself.
I say what I say here not because I’m bitter because it’s the truth and I say it as one of the first people who predicted Trump was going to take the race in 16 and do it by wiinning the rust belt.
OZ isn’t got to get the support or turnout needed to win statewide, he’s way too off brand and unacceptable to too many people that absolutely have to show up and vote R for an R to win statewide.
You want to dismiss it as sour grapes be my guest, 10 weeks from now we will see
I see no math where OZ has any legitimate shot of even making it close… let alone win.
