WHY STOP AT JUST STUDENT LOANS. If this is good, let’s forget car loans, as well as credit card debt, and house mortgages.. This would even help MORE people. If this is good, we need to make it REAL good and just keep forgiving. Get all of the votes..of all the people.
Apart from the inflation, depression and collapse of lending institutions, that will be a blast!
Most backwards thought process I have ever seen.
I am furious-—
NO ONE paid a dime for my college courses except me—with my own EARNED income.
I also paid every cent of my car loans & every cent of my mortgages.
Their body, their choice.
Their loan, their payments.
The colleges and universities with billion dollar endowments should be funding this fiasco. When do they ever get held accountable for offering majors in gender studies and basket weaving?
The government holds all the loans.
NOTHING prevents States from penalizing institutions of higher learning 100 times the amount of any of their students that received a bailout because they got a worthless degree in Lesbian Dance Theory or it’s equivalent.
This isn’t a case of ‘your neighbor needing help’... it’s a case of a Harvard student working on his Masters but unwilling to pay his student loan.
Hey Miguel! Shove it. Go the hell home amigo.
The entire illegitimate Biden administration is unAmerican.
Forcing hard working people you don’t even know to pay your bills is something freeloading, bottomfeeding scumbag communists and Nazis do.
Then YOU pay for it, you commie POS.
If they desperately need financial help, the degrees must have been worthless, the costs to get them as high/corrupt as sub-prime loans.
Seriously, what do you think is already going on? We are providing the existing permanent underclass, and a new imported underclass of replacements, with food, clothing, shelter, public schools, emergency services - while they contribute nothing.
In a consumer-driven economy, the elites don’t know how to deal with serfs who are so burdened with debt that they will never be enslaved further with the responsibilities of home ownership or children. This has created a nightmare scenario for employers, who are realizing they can only push workers so far before they “nope out of there” and simply leave debts unpaid while they hunker down with friends/family.
