National Parks are Racist??
H377 NO they aren’t.
They are named after Rosa Parks, for Heaven’s sake!
Her claim of racism based on “indigenous ownership” (belonging to) seems to rest on the notion that their claim to ownership is without limit and cannot be superseded.
Only governments, in whatever form, are recognized as exercising such sovereign authority. It is the basis of property ownership and land management law (including the exercise of eminent domain confiscation). Governments also have the sovereign right to engage in war to assert their control over all or a portion of “their” territories and conclude treaties to formalize boundaries in disputes.
I write all this because the indigenous peoples asserted their right to control their territories in many individual wars, lost those wars to the United States, and signed treaties ending them. In those treaties, they recognized, usually with stipulations and reservations (double meaning intended), that the United States exercised ultimate sovereign power over “their” lands however vaguely they defined its boundaries.
It stopped being “their” land the moment they entered into treaty with the United States.
The only way for the treaties to be abrogated and sovereign power over the territories seized back from the United States is war. Even a court ruling in the indigenous peoples favor is within the context of United States sovereignty to render decisions over the territory. To escape that context, the indigenous peoples must successfully assert, by force of arms, the exclusion of any United States control over the territory.
Good f’ing luck with that.

I suspect the long-range goal of intimidating the national parks is to destroy or replace the faces of those old White men on Mount Rushmore with non-White faces.
This is genius. Now we understand why NYC which was legitimately purchased from the earlier settlers would best be designated a national park. Surely hiking through the Bronx, breathing the fetid smog, and avoiding wild animals would be a delightful romp in the concrete jungle for all but white visitors.
They can rename it “New AmsterCongo”...

Funny, I never saw a “Whites Only Allowed” sign at the entrance to ANY park.

How about one free crime per non -white park visitor. “Have you looked at our assault package?” Smack white park visitor in the head and get 20 percent off at the gift shop.

When I was in the Army I found out that blacks are afraid of the dark, the woods, and afraid of lizards, snakes, even turtles. But, I did notice that they weren’t afraid of more urban critters like rats and roaches. After getting out of the Army I took my family on numerous camping trips and never once saw a black camper.

I would like to point out that what you have typed here is the difference between urban people versus rural people with skin color making no difference. I know Southern Black individuals who will have no trouble surviving WTSHTF.
