To that, I say have you never heard of irregular forces? Have you never heard of sabateurs?
What would one call it if a band of civilian-dressed people snuck across the border and put poison in the water supply of a nearby city, or detonated a dirty bomb that radiated a downtown that exposed thousands of people?
So why are we ignoring the cartels who first enabled the swarms of people crossing the border, and then are using the chaos of the border to sneak their fentanyl that looks like candy into our cities to kill our children?
It used to be that the drug cartels wanted people to get hooked on drugs in order to create a repeat customer who would then buy more drugs. However, this fentanyl epidemic is a "one and dead" drug, which belies the notion that they are looking to grow cash flow. The dead are not repeat buyers.
So what's the goal, if it is not to grow their market? Is their goal to kill the next generation of Americans? If so, then how can we not call what's happening at the border an invasion of irregular forces intended to kill Americans in an ongoing war of attrition?

And furthermore, if you had had your way, we would have had open borders decisions from the Supreme Court that went the other way - and bills passed into law not only for amnesty but far beyond that that were blocked because these Senators are in place. You did not get your way, therefore, did not happen. All facts.
That is reality - and reality is not where you come from in making arguments.
