There were a lot more issues that created Hitler’s Germany, but that’s right up there at the top.
Weiner Germany was perhaps the first appearance of people supporting transgenderism, for example.
Back to the issue, I find Gab useful despite the presence of some unsavory elements using it. They’re easy enough to suppress.

Well of course. The economic issues and bitterness over the
agreements forced on Germany after WWI were prominent.
I’m simply addressing the part where antisemites became a
large enough segment of the populace, that the German
leadership could get away with the actions they pulled.
It’s not quite as easy as saying ‘freedom of speech’ should
cover folks like this too. Openly allowing racism leads
to other very unfortunate events.
I haven’t been there to GAB, so I’m not the person to
judge. I have addressed what I think of antisemitism.
