Antonovsky Bridge, one of the Russian Army’s lifelines into occupied Kherson, was effectively knocked out of action in a perfectly timed missile strike — just one of many developments on an explosive day in the Ukraine War.
What made the strike so timely was the presence of multiple Russian ammo trucks, headed north with supplies for troops in the Kherson region that Kyiv has vowed to take back. The exploding ammo only added to the destruction.

About 10 trucks loaded with ammunition were driving across the bridge. It's probably the detonation of one of them.
Whether that was due to luck or extremely actionable intelligence doesn’t matter. The point is that Russia has lost a vital Dnipro River crossing. The Dnipro isn’t just a wide river, making it difficult to ford; it also features the large Kakhovka Reservoir, completely unsuitable for moving the supplies Russia needs. ...it could be that Sevastopol residents, skittish over other recent attacks, are reporting backfiring cars or the like as enemy action. If that’s the case, it would hardly be a positive indicator of local Russian morale.

My take from these reports isn’t exactly heartening for either side.
Russian forces seem exhausted and have barely progressed, even under the cover provided by devastating artillery strikes, from their July 3 lines in the Donbas.
On the other side, Ukraine has had some luck in degrading Russia’s already poor logistics. While that’s helpful, Ukraine also seems to lack the manpower or firepower to launch a genuine counteroffensive, even in the less-heavily contested Kherson region.
Autumn rains will come soon, bogging down everything. Then the winter freeze.
If either side is going to make another big push this year, they’re running out of time to make it.

The Ukrainian army during this war has 1) used civilians as human shields, killing them if they try to escape. Video after video of interviews from Ukrainians backs that up. Amnesty International even conceded that. 2) The Ukrainian army has been targeting civilians in Donetsk with both missiles and butterfly mines. I've seen interviews with victims and their families in Donetsk. 3) The Ukrainian army has been targeting Europe's largest nuclear plant, trying nuclear catastrophe like the one that occurred at Chernobyl.

The French medic who went to Ukraine to help the Ukrainians was shocked at all the war crimes he personally saw the Ukrainians commit. He is personally putting himself in danger by reporting this. He even covers the shelling at Bucca and indicates it came from the Ukrainians.
He personally watched and filmed the Ukrainians taking Russian POWs from vans carrying 3 or 4 at a time...asking them if they were officers. If they said no they were shot in the knee. If they said yes they were shot in the head.
He told the French government about it and the French media. They wouldn’t touch it because it went against the narrative the West is pushing.

A former soldier in the French army, author of the book “Get up and walk, thanks to science”, left for Ukraine on a humanitarian mission and spent three weeks there, according to world media.
Upon his return, Adrienne Boke made a difficult decision that could cost him his life or at least cause him many problems: he decided to inform the French about the crimes he had witnessed in Ukraine. Here are quotes from his interview:
“I take full responsibility for what I say. While I was in Ukraine, I witnessed war crimes. They were all committed by the Ukrainian army. But in France we are not talking about that!”

Putin doesn’t care about getting all of Ukraine because most of the gas, oal, coal, and other resources are in the east of Ukraine or around Crimea. Ukraine gave up all its nuclear weapons to Russia and was given Crimea, until it was stolen back in violation of the original exchange. Putin theft must not be allowed to stand. Interesting that Turkey now says it agrees. More to follow no doubt.
