George Soros, other billionaires flood Schumer's PAC with millions to save Senate majority

George Soros and other left-wing billionaires have flooded a Chuck Schumer-aligned super PAC with millions of dollars as they look to maintain a majority in Congress’s upper chamber, federal records show.

Soros steered $2.5 million from his Democracy PAC to the Senate Majority PAC in July, while hedge fund billionaire James Simons added an identical amount, according to new Federal Election Commission filings. The duo was the largest donors to the committee last month, which is now entering the home stretch of the midterm elections with nearly $73 million cash on hand.

The new Soros cash also brings his total to the Senate Majority PAC to $10 million for the 2022 elections, making him one of its largest contributors behind a dark money nonprofit affiliated with the PAC.

Majority Forward, a nonprofit that does not identify its funders, has provided the Senate Majority PAC with at least $27 million in donations this cycle, according to a previous Fox News Digital review of campaign finance records. […]

While the Senate Majority PAC primarily operates by backing Democratic politicians, the group tested a new tactic this election cycle by propping up at least one Republican primary candidate they viewed as more vulnerable in the general election. …

But but but I thought the rodents had no worries about the Senate.

Ask Cortez Masto about her comfortable lead — oh forget she is behind.

Didn’t Shrek have a 9 point lead a week ago - that’s 5 now that he is exposed for the leftist lunatic he is.

Warlock is behind Walker.

And 3/4 of America say we are on the wrong track.

Oh a special shout out to the Surrender Monkey Caucus Republicans now have the KEY to stopping rodent voter fraud ask Youngkin Lake and Joe Kent about that.

“Foreign” Campaign Money Completely Destroys Representative Government

Most are aware that political contributions from foreign citizens are illegal in America, and we approve because we believe that only citizens should finance our political campaigns. Even if a foreign national owns a great deal of property in the US, he’s not allowed to vote or contribute to political campaigns whose outcomes would effect his property.

Why shouldn’t this be true on all political levels? Why should someone “foreign” to your county be able to contribute to a county official he can’t vote for, when his contribution may sway the election much more than your vote? Why should someone outside your Senate or House Congressional district be able to contribute to a candidate that he is not allowed to vote for when his contribution may exert much more influence than your vote? Why should a citizen foreign to Texas be allowed to contribute to the campaign of a Texas Senator or Representative that he cannot possibly vote for when his contribution may influence the politicians much more than all Texans?

When an orange-grower in Florida contributes thousands to a Texas senatorial candidate because he thinks he will be helped in Florida, who do you really think that candidate will represent more effectively? You, who may contribute nothing or a few dollars, or the “foreign” orange-grower?

Don’t such “foreign” contributions completely destroy representative government? Not impressed with how your representatives are concerned about your will? Perhaps it’s because their allegiance has been bought off.

In his column of 11/28, Robert Novak reveals that congressman Nick Smith (R-MI), whose son is running to succeeding his dad, was pressured by other Republicans to vote for the Medicare bill, promising his son $100,000 for his vote. When he resisted, other republicans from Illinois and California threatened that his son would never come to Congress unless the dad voted the way they wanted. He didn’t change his vote, and now these fellow republicans are taunting Smith that his son is dead meat. Tell me the people of Michigan haven’t been completely disenfranchised by campaign financing foreign to their state.

Federal Election Committee records show that Senator Kent Conrad (D-ND) received 97% of his individual contributions in a recent year from outside his state! Who do you think he represents? Who would you represent, if nearly all of your contributions came from “foreigners?” This is not an attack on Conrad or Democrats. All politicians of all parties are involved, and all citizens of whatever political stripe have had their representation robbed by foreign contributions.

Why not make it illegal to contribute to any candidate for any office you can’t vote for? This would include outlawing corporate contributions, since corporations cannot vote in any election. Then perhaps elected officials would represent local citizens who voted for, and supported them, rather than foreign and corporate interests.

Why not identify politicians not only with their party and state, but also with their “foreign factor”? Kent Conrad would be identified as (D-ND-F=97%) in the paper and on television. Betcha campaign financing would change in a hurry!

Former Senate Majority leader Howard Baker supported this concept, and got nowhere with it. I doubt if I will either. Congress won’t fix this problem; they’re too “degraded” seeking campaign funds, senators to the tune of $50,000 per day.

We probably won’t get enough people mad enough to pick up their pitchforks and torches, but at least let’s don’t bother fiddling with congressional district boundaries and touting “one man one vote” as long as out-of-state contributors and corporations exercise such undue influence over our politicians.

No amount of money will prevent the “Red Wave” coming in November. There really is a “silent majority” out there that will be heard from. They’re pissed and ready to go.

They won’t be heard if their votes aren’t counted.

There was a true silent majority in 2020, yet they easily managed to compromise the election.

This is just a hunch, and we’ll see when Election Day comes and goes, but I truly believe that political advertising, especially on TV, is losing its effectiveness. People see right through the lies and slick production, especially with incumbents. They see what a hell-hole the current political class has forged, and the stories of millionaires being created from the 535 permanent political class is starting to open the eyes of voters. However, with Dominion and Smartmatic counting the votes, this may not make a darn bit of difference.

A fool and his money are soon parted.

They gave up their game plan during the last election when they covered up the windows at vote counting areas.
