The United States will buy around 150,000 metric tons of grain from Ukraine in the coming weeks for shipment to people facing starvation and severe drought in the Horn of Africa, officials say.
The grains will be shipped from ports no longer blockaded by the ongoing war, World Food Program chief David Beasley told The Associated Press.
The planned shipment is one of several the U.N. agency that fights hunger is pursuing and is more than six times the amount of grain that the first WFP-arranged ship from Ukraine is now carrying toward the Horn of Africa.

Another problem created by the Europeans and which the Europeans should deal with. Not us.
Global whack a mole by Brandon, with the loser starving to death.
What DON’T we throw money at?
...Oh, that’s right.
Gee, I wonder if there are any back door payments on this little scamaroo.
It will eventually get to poor people only after much graft, and the price will go up to cover the grave...................
They better hurry. Odessa might become unavailable soon. A lot of countries are cancelling grain contracts with Ukraine and switched over to Russia for their grain supplies on account of that.
Meanwhile, I am certain the plotting goes on as to how to reduce farming in the USA on behalf of the environment. These people put the MENTAL in environ-MENTAL.
More money laundering.
I wonder how many truly needy people will actually get the grain and how many corrupt politicians will line their pockets with the profits and give it to their supporters.
… why isn’t europe doing this instead of the USA??
And which US politicians will reap a fortune??? Without looking I can imagine Hunter is in charge of setting up the deal and you know who will get 10%!!!!
Interesting...

What about our own starving people and veterans?
A congressional delegation just went to Africa.. Wonder if this is related.
It could happen that way.
I have a very good (and long) old book on the Irish famine in…1840ish.
The English were At first (and for quite a while) refusing to send much aide to Ireland for the starving.
Yet at the very same time they were exporting food from Ireland (not forced, many Irish farmers were in on it) for sale.
Even worse , much worse. The English were sending huge shipments of food aide to Caribbean Islands people also suffering from food shortages but no where near as severe as the Irish.
This is despite the fact that only about 25 years before that the English General Wellington saved the Allies with almost 1/3 of his combat troops IRISH.
So in summary, Yea. I could see that occurring , it has before.
