Nearly 5 million illegal immigrants have crossed U.S. borders in the 18 months since President Joe Biden took office, according to a new report.
A total of 4.9 million illegal aliens, including some 900,000 “gotaways” who evaded apprehension and have since disappeared into American communities, have entered the country by the end of July, the Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR) said in a statement on Aug. 16.
“Roughly the equivalent of the entire population of Ireland has illegally entered the United States in the 18 months President Biden has been in office, with many being released into American communities,” FAIR President Dan Stein said in the press release.
He blamed Biden for putting the unprecedented surge down to external factors, not the administration’s own “sabotage” of immigration laws. After rolling back key Trump-era policies, Biden presided over the largest number of apprehensions of illegal immigrants at the U.S.–Mexico border in a calendar year in history, recording almost 1.9 million arrests last year.
“The endless flow of illegal aliens and the incursion of lethal narcotics pouring across our border will not end until this administration demonstrates a willingness to enforce our laws,” Stein said.
The White House didn’t immediately respond to a request for comment.
New Surge Two million illegal aliens have entered the country in the first 10 months of this financial year, according to data from U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP). In June, more than 207,000 illegal immigrants were apprehended attempting to cross the U.S.–Mexico border, making this the highest number of June apprehensions in history.
Although July saw a slim decline in CBP encounters at the southwest border of nearly 200,000, it turned out to be the 17th straight month with more than 150,000 encounters, representing a 325 percent increase over the average number of July apprehensions under the Trump administration, the statement reads.
Among the over 213,000 illegal aliens deported from the border in July, only 37 percent of the arrests led to expulsions under Title 42—a 7 percent drop from last month. Border agents processed the majority of the rest under Title 8, which oftentimes lets illegal aliens be released into the U.S. interior while their cases sit in backlogged immigration courts.
The Biden administration announced it would end the Trump-era Title 42, a border policy put in place on public health grounds amid the COVID-19 pandemic, which it had been forced to keep in place owing to a lack of notice.
CBP also reported 10 individuals on the FBI’s terror watchlist were apprehended in July between ports of entry at the southwest border, pushing the total for the current fiscal year to 66.
Meanwhile, CPB seized 2,130 pounds of the synthetic opioid fentanyl last month, more than three times that intercepted in June, and topping the previous monthly record of nearly 1,300 pounds set in April.
It nearly equals the total amount of fentanyl confiscated throughout 2019.

If thousands upon thousands of patriots would’ve shown up at the border and made a chain there was nothing this government could’ve done to those protecting the border. But it’s done and these are the people we’re gonna have to support and accept. You know the saying “too bad too late!”
Remember that the Democrat base voted close enough so that the election theft could work. You can only cheat in a close election; therefore, the real blame falls on the Democrat voter base (and of course the Democrat party criminals who added enough spurious Biden votes to push him over the top)

But somehow the number of illegals in the country will remain at eleven million like it has been for a couple of decades.
It was said “politicians are like diapers so they need to be changed often for the same reason”.......Joes been at it for a ‘lifetime’ and what we have coming over the border is a result of his pants never being changed.
This alone has ruined America. We no longer have a sovereign nation. All the other horrible things happening are add-ons to this main source of daily destruction.
America can never be the country we loved again.
It’s about more than just a permanent election majority.
It’s about more than cheap domestic labor and yard maintenance government employees can afford.
It’s about suppressing the standard of living of the middle class, to that of the rest of the world.
For then the world will be as one, and peace and harmony will reign!
There are more like 40-60 million illegals currently here in the U.S.
In my neck of the woods (a relatively upscale neighborhood in L.A.), you can walk into any Target or Walmart store and see that the vast majority of the shoppers there are speaking Spanish only. Mostly women with little children in tow. I’m sorry, but the odds of them having been born and raised here are just about zero. When you get up to the register, they all seem to have credit or EBT cards.
The pace is bound to pick up until 2024, even at the current pace we are talking about 10-11 million people illegally entering the USA during Biden’s 4 years.
The entire state of Michigan has approximately 10 million people and it’s in the top 10 most populated states in the country.
The damage this will cause is beyond calculation.

4.9 million in 18 months. They all have to have a place to live. They all have to eat. They all have at least some medical problems. Few get here with lots of money and most don’t go out and find jobs—or at least jobs that withhold taxes. We’re paying for them. How much money does each one cost us? How many opportunities have been lost by American-born citizens due to the invasion?
Asking these questions opens one up to charges of ‘racism’ and xenophobia, but the questions need to be raised.
