Magistrate Judge Bruce Reinhart on Monday formally rejected the Justice Department's plea to keep sealed the entire affidavit used for the search warrant to raid former President Donald Trump's Mar-a-Lago estate.

Judge Reinhart must be feeling the heat from his superiors on the circuit for having OK’d the warrant without their input.
Gee, now why do you suppose they want the whole thing sealed? What a joke.
So they will redact everything but “if”, “it” and such.
Reinhardt is running for the shadows.

The stuff that makes the DOJ look bad will still be redacted.
In these Golden Years... whop whop whop!
I understand he will give DOJ an opportunity to redact it.
Which means the public will be given a hundred-page document with everything blacked-out, besides a the greeting and signature.
He needs to allow a search the homes..and quite possibly the arrest..of everyone involved in this farce.

Yes, they had the hearing last week, and the judge said he was open to unsealing it. Next the DOJ will suggest redactions.
The judge still has a self-interest here, if the affadavit is dog poop, he’ll look foolish for approving the warrant.
The affidavit is key. That’s where the bureau establishes probable cause. The judge is in somewhat of a pickle here, methinks.
Reinhart shoulda recused on Day One.
The entire warrant and search should be IMMEDIATELY elevated to the SCOTUS as an unprecedented attack on the Presidency by a rogue agency engaged in Rebellion against Constitutional authority.
It is MEANINGLESS to say Trump is a private citizen like any other now and subject to any vindictive, politically motivated police attack on him. NONE of this would be happening were he not the President.
The entire Judiciary now risks its legitimacy because of this.
Everything else is just gorilla dust. It was an attack on the once and future President, nothing more.
I wonder if President Trump already knows what is in the affidavit. It is interesting that he has not released copies of the security videos.
They want the magistrate to have a chance to pretend to be unbiased.
He is a Democrat judge...not a real judge.
He will accept a highly redacted version.
Unseal the whole damn thing. Like the far lefties always say, “Americans have the right to know!”
