I believe in equality, I detest the concept of equity.
Equality of what? Opportunity or Outcome?
In modern parlance the term equity means forced equality of outcome. Equity is a construct of the perpetually aggrieved when bandied about like a cudgel.
Equity is the new Green which was the new communism.
Harris talks about equity all the time.
Those of us who are older know this is total bs, because we went through all this in the 50’s 60’s and 70’s.
We had voting rights, civil rights, affirmative action, blacks elected as mayors and appointed police chiefs, too many things to list.
So now to hear the police are just murdering blacks and everything is inequitable is nonsense, it’s not the reality of present day America, where people have been afraid to be called racist for decades.
As long as people can get rich by exploiting racism it will continue.
Now, in CCP land, if you talk to some one who read a book that is banned, unbeknownst to you, you will be arrested and ‘questioned’.
