Lockdown effects feared to be killing more people than Covid

Unexplained excess deaths outstrip those from virus as medics call figures ‘terrifying’

The effects of lockdown may now be killing more people than are dying of Covid, official data suggests.

Figures for excess deaths from the Office for National Statistics (ONS) show that around 1,000 more people than usual are dying each week from conditions other than the virus.

The Telegraph understands that the Department of Health has ordered an investigation into the figures amid concern that the deaths are linked to delays to and deferment of treatment for conditions such as cancer, diabetes and heart disease.

Over the past two months, the number of excess deaths not from Covid dwarfs the number linked to the virus. It comes amid renewed calls for Covid measures such as compulsory face masks in the winter.

But the figures suggest the country is facing a new silent health crisis linked to the pandemic response rather than to the virus itself.

The British Heart Foundation said it was “deeply concerned” by the findings, while the Stroke Association said it had been anticipating a rise in deaths for a while.

Dr Charles Levinson, the chief executive of Doctorcall, a private GP service, said his company was seeing “far too many” cases of undetected cancers and cardiac problems, as well as “disturbing” numbers of mental health conditions.

“Hundreds and hundreds of people dying every week – what is going on?” he said. “Delays in seeking and receiving healthcare are no doubt the driving force, in my view.

And that’s before you count the people who starved to death in 3rd world countries when the food supplies were supply chained out of existence.

Liberals tell us dying of thirst and starvation is euphoric...

FUNDAMENTALLY INACCURATE DATA:

The suicide stats are out for 2020.

There were fewer than in 2019 and 2018. This was true nationwide, and the tightest lockdowns of NY and New England had a larger decline in suicides than Idaho.

This Lockdown kills via suicide bullshit is ridiculous. Imagine the horrors of teenagers having to stay home and play video games.

Interesting. Teen suicide is a well known phenomena.

Are you advocating universal house arrest as a method of reducing the number of these sad cases?

Garbage. Totally ignores the vaccine safety issues that have been obvious for a long time.

Steve Kirsch on the topic:

Steve Kirsch’s newsletter
I write about COVID vaccine safety and efficacy, corruption, censorship, mandates, masking, and early treatments. America is being misled by formerly trusted authorities.

I believe this to be 100% correct. We lost a young family member to what would have been completely treatable Diabetic Ketoacidosis. She was an undiagnosed type 1 diabetic, and had not been able to get an in person doctor’s appointment. A simple blood test would have been all that was needed to diagnose.

I will never forgive the fear mongering Gavin Newsom and the media.

Where I live, they shut down all the public parks “due to Covid”.

And Steve Kirsch has been so accurate...

So now the argument is the vaccines caused people to get diseases before COVID or the vaccine existed that they had to put off treatment for due to restrictions that resulted in the diseases unnecessarily progressing without treatment.

The time travelling vaccine strikes again!

Doctors / Medical Centers should have been able to use their own discretion. They would obviously know if they had too many cases to treat other things at any given time. Some Medical Centers were overrun, but others all but closed their doors due to not being allowed to treat other patients even if COVID was not in their area.

That last is how we got the TikTok dancing nurses. They certainly were not overrun.
