Hmmm. Doesn’t this sound like they’re questioning the legitimacy of certified elections for the respective members of the Legislature? I heard somewhere that constitutes insurrection. Don’t remember where I heard that though

Really… y’all can’t do that coz youse raciss?
BS.
If that’s the case then the NCSC is absolutely illegitimate by the same gerrymandered standards and HAS no authority to issue a ruling.
Checkmate.

No, the NC Supreme Court is the ostensible final arbiter of what NC State law is.
The proper legal check and balance is the speedy impeachment of those justices apparently unable to properly serve North Carolinians.

In 202 these same justices declared that any and all changes made to voting rules fall under the governor’s emergency powers!

How did NC get a Democrat-controlled Supreme Court?

”In your face” is our communist masters' favorite tool to rattle the chains of tyranny that they have wrapped around our necks...
No Big Deal!
Our communist masters know that the pathetically servile and indolent Aamerican sheeple will just continue to roll over and spread their collective cheeks...
The Aamerican people understand that the First Amendment calls for them to:
Bow down!... Obey!... Snitch!...

If the NCSC has ruled the the NC General Assembly (like MO that is what both houses together are called) is ‘illegitimate’ then wouldn’t it follow that all laws passed by it and signed into law are null and void?

Did not read the piece, seems like clickbait/hyperbolic article, besides
Article IV, Section 4:
The United States shall guarantee to every State in this Union a Republican Form of Government, and shall protect each of them against Invasion; and on Application of the Legislature, or of the Executive (when the Legislature cannot be convened) against domestic Violence.

The guv is a Dem, right? So the state has no police forces capable of acting against the court’s lawlessness.

"
Democrats currently hold a 4-3 majority on the court, a dynamic almost certain to change after November’s elections where the GOP is favored to take a 5-2 majority."
Going by how they're acting here, they might just rule the November election changing the Court's political makeup "unconstitutional" because North Carolina is a racist ex-Confederate state. Absolute clown judges.
To: cdnerds
You are correct, that is the one time they acted without delay.

Just today, in the WSJ Opinion Section, Kimberley Strassel (Potomac Watch), gives us a familiar LEFTist as a leader of how such madness starts! "Toe to Toe With Eric Holder" lists how Obama's Attorney General has led the campaign on GOP Gerrymandering and how the Donkey Party has pumped mucho bucks into state-level judge races.
Her specific quotes on this topic are as follows; "In 2015 Democrats plowed millions into three seats on the Pennsylvania Supreme Court and changed the balance of power. Democrats then sued over the district map that had been in place since 2011, and in 2018 the state high court replaced it with one more favorable to their party. Rinse and repeat in North Carolina, where the Holder forces in 2018 and 2020 helped retain a Democratic majority, which redrew maps to favor Democrats."
