Every action has a reaction. This election cycle, Democrats are learning the hard way that the same is true in politics. For nearly two years, Joe Biden and Democrats have run the country into the ground with a set of left-wing priorities and radical policies. Now, voters from coast to coast are rejecting Democrats’ agenda and voting Republican up and down the ballot. A backlash is coming, and there’s no better indicator than the battle for the United States Senate.
In the 2020 House primary, total of about 23,500 votes were cast for the Dems, in 2022 it was 6,500. Or about 17,000 fewer votes cast.
On the Rep side, 170,000 votes cast in 2022, versus 107,000 cast in 2020.
So about 63,000 more in 2022, but about 17,000 of that was due to Dems crossing over.
Yes, there are some scenarios where that can work out as prep for 2024. But the House takeover is absolutely required.
With Mitch and Kevin in charge.
First, take the precincts.
....see if you can find Tucker Carlson’s take on all this from his show yesterday, Thursday, the 18th....all this talk about a “red tide” and a “conservative wave” or whatever is just this...wishful thinking....the Republicans may take the House but taking the Senate is another matter...probably LOSE seats there, since Dr. Oz in PA and Walker in GA seem to be falling behind their respective Democrat opponents.....
I believe McConell,is whining because people like me have stopped feeding the GOPe pigs at the trough with my hard earned dollars. They are starting to feel the pain.
Right! I mean... it’s worked so far!
Any backlash is WAY overdue
“...people like me have stopped feeding the GOPe pigs at the trough with my hard earned dollars...”
And THAT’S exactly why the DNC jumped through it’s own rectum to make common cause with Corporate CEO’s ( formerly, the DNC’s go-to target) on their side!
Walker is not a very good candidate in that he comes across as a dumbass - not that he is, but that’s the impression you get in his ads (which suck.) Not one word from him in his ads about inflation, government spending, border security, taxes, or other things that everyone except the Democrat voter base thinks are important. His ads a just bullsh!t football analogies. Yes we know his a good football player, but we’re not electing a coach, but a senator.
Gee I wish the GOP was that active in defending our candidates
Those Rinos at least voted against the orwellian Inflation Reduction Act.
I don't get it. I have in-laws who have always voted Democrat and would vote democrat if the Democrat candidate roasted and ate a baby live on "public" television. The aren't stupid in most of the other stuff they do, but their capacity for political self delusion is infinite.
The most costly of all follies is to believe passionately in the palpably not true. It is the chief occupation of mankind.H. L. Mencken
Wanna bet? The fraud will be rampant. And we are losing.
It’s why lobbyists are riding around in armored trucks with no Bank logo.
I doubt that we will take the Senate. We will be lucky if we take the House, and it will be by a very thin margin if we do.
In an honest election, the Democrats would be swept out of office, based on the obvious damage they have done to the national economy. We do not have honest elections. The Democrats appear confident that they do not need to change anything they are doing, except to do more of it.
We get the government that we tolerate.
“if you have the will to do it”
Hence, the problem.
Kind of like when the NYC police arrest someone and charge the perp with Attempted Murder. Then the DA reduces the charges and they get released.
I doubt very many people have confidence in our election systems these days. I know I don’t.
I lived in NYC for a very long time.
Most of the voters voted for the far left Dems. They have to face the consequences.
“Nothing has been done to change things from 2020.
10 PM: The Republican candidate is far ahead.
2 AM: Many boxes of mail-in ballots suddenly appear.
8 AM: The Democrat candidate is declared the winner.”
It will be:
4 PM: Fox News calls the Democrat candidate the winner!
10 PM: The Republican candidate is far ahead.
2 AM: Many boxes of mail-in ballots suddenly appear.
8 AM: The Democrat candidate is declared the winner.
This was from another thread today. A guy sucker punched another guy on the sidewalk in Brooklyn. The was an article in the Post. This was a quote from the NYC DA:
“The police charged him with Attempted Murder and when we got the case we evaluated and charged based on evidence we had,”
They released the ex con level 3 sex offender perp. The victim he sucker punched is in the hospital with brain damage.
