The FBI should not be allowed to hide any potential criminality by redacting anything.
The FBI’s history is suspect with prior incidents and redactions on reports that covered their actions.

This story has such a high public interest that the lack of verified information has led to a multitude of published stories that imply nuclear danger, FBI corruption, and political interference from the Attorney General. It's nothing less than a media frenzy where just about everyone can speculate and fabricate stories with the most outlandish elements.
The only thing that tempers this, and restores any integrity to the process and respects the Constitutional rights of a private citizen, who happens to be a former president is full disclosure.
While this might have an effect with the ongoing investigation, that should have been considered before the application to search was made. The DoJ should have anticipated a high public interest in this.

I think we all know which portions will be unsealed and which portions will remain hidden.
At this point I’m not concerned about “redactions”, I would be worried about the entire affidavit being altered.
If they can orchestrate a raid, then rewording the affidavit after the fact would be easy-peasy.
