In the first poll since the unprecedented Mar-a-Lago raid, Emerson College Polling showed that J.D. Vance, the Trump-backed Republican nominee for Ohio’s open U.S. Senate seat, and Republicans had overtaken Democrats in the Buckeye State.

Vance leads Ryan by three points in the most recent Emerson College poll. The poll found that 45 percent of the 925 general election voters would vote for Vance over the 42 percent who would vote for Ryan. There were also four percent who said someone else, and ten percent were undecided.

Didn’t flip. It was always that way. Ohio has become a solid red state. Polls in 2016 and 2020 missed big time overestimating Dem numbers.

Vance has begun his tv ad campaign. So far so good but they still need to hang Biden around Ryan’s neck. idk who his ad agency is but they seem a little weak on focus. We’ll see.

Put the onus for 87000 new armed IRS agents on Ryan; this garbage is what he, Kelley, Warnock, Cortez and the other “moderate” Dems voted for, in lockstep with Schumer and Pelosi.

I agree, what is going on with Brietbart? They usually are pretty good. Nothing has changed.

Exactly they should be pounding the hell out the 87,000 armed IRS goons. A simple message that can kill the rats.

The RNC won’t do it, because they don’t want to win.

When they give you rinos such as Dewine and Portman that is not a red state . That is a blue state . Or maybe purple like a battered womans eye .

Ohio has a fair amount of constitutional and libertarian voters. There’s a possibility enough vote that way and we end up losing the Senate to the Demiots.

In what universe does anyone think a statewide race in Oh with a non incumbent Democrat in a midterm with the most unpopular President of my lifetime, is in the lead?!?

Unless the GOP candidate have huge personal issues this is about as likely as Clinton keeping it in his pants or Obama delivering a speech without using the pronoun “I” in every sentence of Joe Biden knowing what day of the week it is.

Anyone on the ground in OH care to enlighten me? I just don’t see OH going statewide blue when there is no blue incumbent.
