The first units of the state-of-the-art reconnaissance drones DJI Matrice 300 RTK have been assigned to Ukrainian soldiers. Field tests will be conducted in the near future.
The first new drones have been provided to the 72nd Mechanized Brigade. Currently no additional information has been issued about the actual number of these drones used in the territory of Ukraine, in the ongoing battles against the invading Russian army. However, according to an earlier announcement, an agreement to purchase 78 units of Matrice 300 RTK has been signed with DJI, and the first units have arrived to the country in the beginning of August.
The news about DJI Matrice 300 entering military service has been announced by Ukraine’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov in a Telegram post. According to initial plans, this unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) will be used to determine exact locations of the enemy forces, and also to monitor other factors influencing the safety of the Ukrainian military.
DJI Matrice 300 is a professional industrial-grade product manufactured since 2020. Reconnaissance operations are not within its primary ‘official’ purpose; however, the first attempts to monitor battlefield exercises using the same model have been conducted by the Ministry of Defense of the United Kingdom a couple of months earlier.
One of it’s most important features – the drone has an on-board thermal imager allowing this flyer to be operated during the nighttime. This model has a flight time of 55 minutes with a single battery charge. A six-direction obstacle avoidance system automatically detects objects located 40 meters away. The payload capacity is almost 3 kg (6 pounds).
The drone has an IP45-rated weather sealing, and can resist winds up to 15 m/s. DJI Matrice 300 RTK can be controlled up to 15 kilometers (9.3 miles) away from its controller. One of the most interesting features: this model can be controlled by two co-pilots. According to the manufacturer, 300 RTK has an integrated artificial intelligence (AI) sub-system that can be ‘trained’ during the mission, and can later automatically repeat the same flight, while performing check-ups on the same points of interest.
Ukraine is currently implementing its Army of Drones project. This comprehensive program includes a systematic purchase and maintenance of new drones, while also providing the necessary training to existing and new pilots. In total, a sum of nearly 13 million USD (UAH 474 million) has been dedicated for this purpose. The fundraiser campaign is still ongoing. The first newly acquired attack drones and reconnaissance UAVs are already on the front lines. Related links:

Warfare is changing due to this conflict
aka. The most effective weapon might be an anti-bird shotgun.

“Ukrainian DJI Matrice 300 with a munition rack holding 9 modified VOG-17 grenades.
Footprint and undetectability has been and always will be a fundamental core of guerilla warfare. And do not be mistaken, that’s what this is. A lesser force using asymmetric techniques and technology to their advantage against a larger, less nimble force. A single shotgun and shell combo cannot fatally hit a goose size target at 100 yards… much less at night.”
Why are these photographed at what appears to be a commercial aviation airport and not a military airport?
The Chicoms at DJI will forward the telemetry info to their good friends the Russians. They, in turn, will splash a few artillery rounds on the drone operator.
For all your globalist warmongering needs, turn to George Soros. (also sponsored by Pfizer)

Maybe, Ukraine is testing the function of drones.
Having large area for flight test seems wise.
Perhaps I’m wrong, but as commercial units they can still be blinded easily by interference and the operator’s position revealed by the transmissions. You could plot a course that doesn’t require operator control, and just record the terrain of the route, but that requires getting it back home.
Entertaining video of a new version Matrice 30, very similar to the 2 year old Matrice 300.
Shows most all of the features that make it so effective on a battlefield.

Putin has an arrest warrant out on Soros.
Nice lie, but people here are too wise to fall for the giant sized printed lie.
Be honest because the more you lie the less likely anyone will believe anything you say.
Soros has already sounded off on his Ukraine support.
It is designed to be paid for by taxpayers, local and State.
So, in a way, it isn’t out of your price range because you never got a say in the matter.

“Putin has an arrest warrant out on Soros”
Let’s face it, Putin and Soros waste no opportunity trying to score points off each other. We don’t have to choose between either Putin or Soros: BOTH ARE EVIL!
The right option this SorosP vs. Putin is not just pick your poison and choose one. Let’s help them both lose!
DEBUNKED !
Soros is your hero.
Sorosbot turning on Soros ? What a joke you are, lady.
Soros isn’t a world leader. He is loyal to no country. He is a demon. If he is for something, I am against it because nothing he wants is good for mankind. I wish I didn’t find my own western world as disgusting as the people we are supposed to hate. No pity for any side because they, us, and them all made the mess and nobody has clean hands.
As to the outcome of this mess, I want it over and am tired of having to even hear about it. I am sick of the lies and propaganda. It is bad enough here in the US without having to hear the same kind of bullchit from across the globe.
Make a deal and end it.
