I agree.

But we’re informed that this is a European/NATO worldwide threat akin to defeating Hitler.

Ukraine doesn’t have the men to keep up.

So why are we continuing to throw BILLIONS at a proxy war?

Either it’s important to us or it’s not.

But we’re informed that this is a European/NATO worldwide threat akin to defeating Hitler.

False premise! Putin has launched an undeclared war, invaded a peaceful neighboring country, killed thousands of civilians, allowed Russian war crimes, shelled / fire-bombed urban centers, and seized territory. Oh, and he is also denying the legitimacy of the existence of an independent Ukrainian state and Ukrainian people.

So, he has that much in common with Hitler.

But he hasn't declared war on most of the civilized world, so there's that difference between him and Hitler.

However, even Hitler didn't threaten nukes if he didn't get his way!

Ukraine doesn’t have the men to keep up.

Ukraine has roughly one-third the population of Russia, but Ukraine has ordered a General Mobilization and so has more available manpower.

So why are we continuing to throw BILLIONS at a proxy war?

Because every Russian warplane, warship, tank, etc. which the Ukrainians capture, disable, or destroy is one less threatening America and her allies.

Or are you perhaps sad that Ukraine is degrading Russia's ability to wage war?!

Regards,
