CHELSEA, NY — Desus Nice and The Kid Mero's pursuit of new "creative endeavors" after their high-profile split unfortunately will force dozens of workers to search for new gigs.
The end of Showtime's "Desus & Mero Show" will lead to the permanent layoff of 73 employees starting Aug. 15, according to a dislocated workers notice filed with the state.

They used to be very funny at Viceland in part because they sometimes touched on subjects deemed taboo by the woke folks but after their arrival on Showtime they became more standard issue types.
Scoped out their page on Wikipedia; guests on their show were mostly random rapper-types, two-bit lefties, and standard Hollywood types.
