In an odd way, Beschloss is my “favorite” modern historian. The guy is such a partisan gasbag, and he has no self-awareness so he doesn’t even know it.
He used to be a regular guest on Don Imus’ radio show. I still crack up over one exchange on the air shortly after Obama was elected in 2008 …
