You must be joking. The last thing we need at this point in our history is a ticket of two Ivy League guys — one a lawyer who has never worked outside government, and the other the former CEO of the infamous Carlyle Group.
You just recommended a GOP ticket that comes right out of “Deep State” central casting.
I’m 100% behind Trump 2024. But, while DeSantis did go to Yale, he doesn’t come from a privileged background. His Mother was a Nurse and his Dad installed Neilsen TV boxes in houses. He worked two jobs while at Yale and got a grant in aid to play Baseball. After graduation, he joined the Navy and was a JAG attached to SEAL Team One in Iraq. The guy is not a Bush type snob. He’s taken Florida from a solid purple state to reliably Red.

If you want to kill any enthusiasm for 2024, then please nominate two minor leaguers named DeSantis & Youngkin.

at this point I’d give better than even odds that Trump himself is Deep State and has been all along played the scripted foil to allow them to rip off the mask of constitutional government.
If that is the case he’s done his part flawlessly.
