Ron DeSantis went on Hannity and things got SPICY
It was well done and looks convincing. Convincing enought that both Hannity and DeSantis' Press Secretary Christina Pushaw have denounced it and called for Twitter to remove it as disinformation.
Of course, 1.6 million views later, Twitter still has done nothing, not even labeling it as misleading, actions they would've immediately taken if this were a Democrat.
It wasn’t that clever. The video work is pretty sloppy. Their attempt at fake diminished the point they were trying to make. They managed to shift the focus from earlier comments to it being a fake video. Not well thought out.
That’s the worst editing hack job I’ve ever seen in my 25 year tv production career.
They are desperate for a war between Trump and DeSantis. They want both men badmouthing each other.
If you read the replies at the original tweet, there's no shortage of idiots out there who think it's real.

With all the abilities today from technology with Adobe Autoshop to video splicing, it’s a very dangerous world as far as what is real and what is not.
DeepFakes as well...
It was done well enough that the low IQ leftwing will fall for it.
The emerging deep fake technology is really scary.
After repeated views, I could see this video wasn't quite as well-done as I thought but the deep fake stuff could really do some damage.
Imagine a video making the rounds on social media of Trump at one of his rallies saying the most despicable things that you could possibly imagine and not being able to tell that it wasn't real because it looked and sounded exactly like him.
That's where the deep fake tech is headed. It's not quite there yet but it will be soon.
Slight correction to what you said: They want DeSantis to run instead of Trump—and lose of course.
The fact that they would go to these lengths for their goal proves what everybody knows, that they hate Trump for his greatness and want him out and will commit any crime to make that happen.
No, it shouldn't, unless it threatens someone or something with death or destruction.
But that should apply to conservative's comments as well, not just liberals.
