One problem: President Trump’s authority ended when he left office.
Biden could reclassify everything and then prosecute Trump for posession of classified material.
That doesn't follow, and I don't believe it's the case. I've never heard the concept of "re-classifying" information--have you? Would that mean everyone in the U.S. (or the world?) who had heard a fact when it was de-classified was suddenly forbidden to share it with anyone? Or maybe he would be forbidden to know it? Would he have to return to some government entity all copies in his possession? Maybe he would have to return parts of his brain that remembered the forbidden knowledge.
What if the information has already been printed in published books--which is probably true in this case? And hey, what if a President classified the Bible?
No. De-classification is a one-way process, by definition. You can't classify the west wind, and no law can require you not to utter what is universally known.
BULL CRAP!!
That makes no sense at all...
Almost like that is why up until now former presidents were not investigated.
Totally, and unapologetically, fascist and as long as the people remain under (social) media hypnosis there will not be any change.
Alex Berenson was removed from twitter per the request of the Biden regime. Project Veritas is harassed by federal agents.
Tell me again how the social media platforms are private companies. They are managed by the US federal government. And it is a “conspiracy” to say so because that is the easiest way to dismiss a person’s concerns without investigation.
And it is rigged now where if you spread “mal-information” you are a terrorist and can be disappeared. Call you terrorist and you have no right to trial, no right to any constitutional right you think you have as a US citizen that will protect you from the government.
The feds have all the tools at their disposal they need to be literal secret police. It started with the charmingly named *PATRIOT* act and they have grown it to the falsified FISA warrants and a thuggish search of a former US president.
Nope. Biden could try to take possession of the formerly classified documents and THEN classify them.
The executive branch can't classify documents that are not their documents, nor can they classify their own documents that are in somebody else's possession without giving that person a formal briefing and requesting those documents back.
