Something that I see that is noticeably absent or at least not getting much attention.
The #1 priority for the FBI and in ALL FBI operations is to call the media. To document their heroic feats of strength and bravery.
The fact that they did not alert/ leak this to CNN/ MSNBC/ NYT et al. is hugely significant.
That there were not 100s of news vans and helicopters capturing it all and showing it live. Is, at this point, rather extraordinary.
Iirc the raid was coordinated with Maggie haberman and the nyt.
Stories were queued up ready to go.
Had they done this, it would have been a massacree!......................
My initial response to this whole thing was that we need to be careful because the only perfect man that ever existed was hung on a cross. Which means you never know what they theoretically could find in any person’s closet if they look hard enough.
That being said though, every day that passes supports the theory that they found nothing. It’s as though their main goal right now is to try to come up with a good way to spend what they did find and make it look as bad as possible.
I’ve said since the last year of Trump’s presidency that the Democrat party has gone full scorched Earth mode. And this is just another step in that strategy/tactic. They will pull out all the stops and do whatever it takes even if it means the destruction of their own party and the country. It’s sort of a either we win or nobody wins perspective.
And it just might be because they’ve ramped this up so seriously that if they lose, it’s the final loss. It’s not just losing a battle anymore. It’s losing the whole war. And it appears that that’s their perspective, when you analyze how they’re fighting. That funeral George walk from the house to the Senate with the letters of impeachment was high comedy.
