This insulation controversy about Biden (insulated because he’s a puppet, insulated by dementia, whatever) reminds me of the Hirohito apologia. He’s just a figurehead, he didn’t know x and if he did he didn’t decide y and he could only stay in his lane and it was really the z’s who ran the show...
No. POTUS is #1. C-in-C, Buck Stops Here. That guy. He knows whatever he wants to know, and in whatever amount of lucid moments he has, he’s the same person he always was. Mr. Ten Percent Stops Here, plagiarist, pedo, calumniator, crook. He’s on whichever end of the puppet strings he wants to be.
It’s not really an apology for him, it’s more of a question: if we all agree that, for one reason or another, Biden is not making the decisions…then who is?
I think there are a lot of the usual Dem hacks there, of course, with people like Obama and his cronies as “the intellectual authors” of the coup, but who is actually giving the go orders and coordinating it all? It’s not Garland.
Maybe Pelosi? Maybe somebody in the military or Secret Service (who are her close allies and haters of Trump, especially Milley)?
