I think it’s been going on for longer than that. I first read about ammo hoarding during the Obama Administration.
That first bullet applies only to an applicant’s treatment of people that carry a (D) after name.
Every single Dem who voted for this should be made to defend it throughout this campaign cycle.
Note the Dem “moderates” in the Senate who voted without reservation for the massive IRS police state expansion - Manchin, Sinema, Warner, and the “rancher”, Tester from Montana. Even the most liberal Republicans - Murkowski, Collins and Romney - voted against it.
This is not going to go over well with the public.
The super rich have tax accountants and tax attorneys to fight these guys.
The new employees are going to be judged on the basis of how much money they bring in or how many “conservative Republicans” that screw over. The public will get tired of this real quickly.
Every one of them should be hammered for it back home.
Me too. I would rather have a flat tax or national sales tax than this. Every year we have to file taxes in order to justify this bloated bureaucracy. Get rid of the IRS or most of it. The only reason to expand by 87,000 agents is for the purposes of coercion and intimidation.
EXACTLY. The voter registration lists is where they will select their audit victims.
I predict the IRS will soon come to resemble the DMV or the post office, staffed by nothing but an army of angry black girlbosses who know nothing about U.S. tax codes but that doesn’t matter because they’re just going to make your life so miserable that you pay up just to make them go away.
You forgot the sarc tag.
Fixed it.
Murkowski, Collins and Romney == They still suck sh!t.
The House still needs to vote on this and the “moderates” among the House Dems need to take a stand as Pelosi has only a four vote margin to pass this garbage. She will need the “moderates” such as Spangenburg and Cuellar but if they vote for this, we will know what I suspect that they are Moderates in Name Only - MINOs.
Few hetero white males will be hired for Biden’s Grande IRS scheme. Hired will be Republican/Conservative hating women, gays, lesbians, blacks, Hispanics and so on. Trans misfits too, who will be hired first. You have half your head shaved and the rest is green hair? YOU ARE HIRED!
Just watch the GOP, no one screaming no one gathering together as a force to protest, no shutting down of anything. They are sitting on their hands hoping for the midterms when they are REALLY going to do something.
An IRS agent can look up your party affiliation online.
Here it is for Florida

Someone told me that the petitioner (taxpayer) has the burden of proof. I don't understand this. What is the burden of proof?
The burden of proof is a legal term that refers to a party’s duty to prove a disputed assertion. The burden of proof is generally on the petitioner. This means that you need to bring to court evidence, such as documents and testimony of witnesses (you and maybe others), to prove that the determination of the IRS is not correct and that your position is correct.(emphasis added)
There are some limited circumstances where the burden of proof is on the IRS. For the burden of proof to shift to the IRS on a factual issue, the petitioner must introduce credible evidence in court with respect to that issue. The petitioner must also comply with substantiation and record-keeping requirements set forth in the tax laws. Also the petitioner must show that he or she cooperated with reasonable requests from the IRS for witnesses, information, documents, meetings, and interviews. In most cases, the burden of proof does not shift to the IRS and the petitioner must show that the IRS’s determinations are wrong.
Be assured that every one of the 80,000 will be a Democrat.
