To anyone who took the time to look at it, Joseph McCarthy was shown to be right over half a century ago. He should be an American hero.
His efforts purchased our country nearly two decades of time to get things straight before the Communists began their next real domestic push. He made it disreputable to be a Communist, as it should be for that tyrannical ideology that is more drenched in blood than any other in history.
But we didn’t take advantage of his sacrifice. And today, the Left (and even some on the right) continue to unfairly vilify him.

This was a fantastic statement. That McCarthy bought us time by allowing the left to crucify him. My late father carried his casket. Semper fi.
