Former President Donald Trump faces a deposition Wednesday by New York Attorney General Letitia James, who has made pursuing Trump a focus of her office since she was elected in 2018.
The deposition comes two days after FBI agents raided Trump’s home at Mar-a-Lago, Florida, ostensibly in pursuit of presidential records — an act that outraged Republicans and caused even some Democrats to criticize the Department of Justice for its unprecedented action.

It is clear the government including the Justice department and most federal judges have lost their moral authority. They have all the moral standing of their equals in the CCP or Russia. Even the juries are tainted. Frankly I will never go to these places because the rule of law is against me. So, DC and even NY is off limits. I would be better off in Moscow.
Letitia James certainly has zero knowledge of high finance, and the people she consults were consulted because they hate Trump, so this investigation will ultimately go nowhere.
And I am puzzled by her claim that Trump’s organization did not correctly assess the value of their holdings. Isn’t it standard business practices to put your holdings in the best possible light for whatever purposes, and for the other party to make his own judgments.
