House Speaker Nancy Pelosi ripped Chinese President Xi Jinping as a “scared bully” on Tuesday, before mistakenly claiming in a separate interview that Beijing fosters “one of the freest societies in the world.”
“We still support the One China policy. We go there to acknowledge the status quo is what our policy is. There was nothing disruptive about that,” Pelosi said.
“It was only about saying China is one of the freest societies in the world,” she added. “Don’t take it from me, that’s from Freedom House.” Drew Hammill, Pelosi’s deputy chief of staff, later clarified that the speaker made an unfortunate slip and meant to refer to Taiwan instead.

All these people (even biden) have nice homes and people to take care of them.
So they will never be in a nursing home—up to the point when they might enter a hospice.

One China policy does not allow for a free and independent Taiwan.

Some fine diplomacy. Its not as if we need China for anything and they really arent much more than say Ukraine. This is absolutely bizzaro and dangerous at the same time. President Trump had the proper tact in dealing with China
Perhaps she meant to say “Republic of China” when she said “China”
This is the woman that Mitch the Bitch and Miss Lindsey were praising to the gills last week.
OK, the name of the nation Pelosi visited is “The Republic of China”. It has had that name since 1912 although the government of R.O.C. lost control of the Chinese mainland in 1949. But I believe they still refer to themselves as the Republic of China.
It really does look like she’s trying to start something.
I wonder if she’s trying to emulate Trump, who appeared successful in shutting Kim Jong-Un up with his “rocket man” taunts?
Trump can pull that sort of thing off.
