London's High Court has rejected President Nicolas Maduro's latest efforts to gain control of more than $1 billion of Venezuela's gold reserves stored in the Bank of England's underground vaults in London.
The court ruled on Friday that previous decisions by the Maduro-backed Venezuelan Supreme Court, aimed at reducing opposition leader Juan Guaido's say over the gold, should be disregarded.
It marked the latest victory for Guaido, who has won a series of legal clashes over the bullion after the British government recognised him rather than Maduro as the South American country's president.

theft
And the Judge rules - you can’t have your gold!
Guaido is not the leader of Ven. This is theft.
Yes, it is theft. UK and US partners in thugocracy. So, is Juan Guaido, the US declared poser still the faux president?
I am so disgusted with the immorality by my government. Stealing Syrian oil and wheat, stealing Iraq’s gold. Trying to leverage countries with famine, and war.
Maduro even said early on, if the gold won’t be returned to Venezuela, then take the money to provide health care to poor countries who are suffering from covid.
That offer was rejected.
Black-robed thieves, IMHO...
Maduro’s “election” makes Biden’s installation in the White House look pure.

The so called “global rules-based order” is exposed in the last few years for the lie it is.
Many European nations moved their gold to New York when the USSR was a threat. Then when someone, Germany is a recent example” wants to repatriate it, we drag our feet, say it will take several years or more than a decade to accomplish, we want to hear their reasons why, etc etc.
London is the same.
A global criminal financial syndicate... finally exposed.
He who possess the gold makes the rules
Possession is 9/10’s of the law.
Maduro is a criminal
That’s not much money. Shortly I could probably buy 2 sacks of chicken feed with it the way things are going.
The amount is relative.
First of all, it is gold, and secondly, if you are broke, every little bit of gold helps
