I’ve been saying right along...before this is over...both Nordstream I & II will be flowing.
They are rock-solid on Nord Stream II never coming on. As for NS-1, without that ‘pump’ being picked up by the Russians and activated....it won’t be pumping.
I’d describe the national leadership as a group of ‘elephants’ just standing without an idea on how to proceed. It appears the coal-powered plants will continue on, and a long discussion on the three nuke plants is underway. There’s even some chatter on approving fracking within Germany.
Germany cities are already cutting back on lighting and hot water in a bid to avert disaster.....the presidential palace in Berlin is no longer lit at night, the city of Hanover is turning off warm water in the showers of its pools and gyms, and municipalities across the country.
If they can’t fnd this off the government has the power to declare a gas “emergency,” which would involve the state taking control of distribution and deciding who gets the fuel and who doesn’t.
