The Ministry of Defence's statement said a slew of commanders have been dismissed as Putin rages at their failures.
Specifically, the report claims: "The poor performance of Russia’s armed forces during its invasion of Ukraine has been costly for Russia’s military leadership, highly likely resulting in the dismissal of at least six Russian commanders since the start of hostilities in February 2022.
"The commanders of Russia’s Eastern and Western Military Districts have highly likely lost their commands. General-Colonel Aleksandr Chayko was dismissed as Commander of the Eastern Military District in May 2022.
"General-Colonel Aleksandr Zhuravlev, who has commanded the Western Military District since 2018, was absent from Russia’s Navy Day in St Petersburg on 31 July 2022 and has highly likely been replaced by General-Lieutenant Vladimir Kochetkov.
"General Aleksandr Vladimirovich Dvornikov has subsequently been removed after been given overall command of the operation in Ukraine, and General Sergei Surovikin has assumed command of the Southern Grouping of Forces from General Gennady Valeryevich Zhidko."
The report concludes: "These dismissals are compounded by at least 10 Russian Generals killed on the battlefield in Ukraine. The cumulative effect on consistency of command is likely contributing to Russian tactical and operational difficulties."
This comes as Ukrainian military officials report that Russia has lost at least 42,000 troops since the start of the conflict.
2-This comes the MoD revealed today that Putin has brutally sacked six of his top generals.
3-Russian forces have killed over 1,000 civilians and 50 children during their invasion of Kharkiv, Oleksandr Filchakov, head of the regional prosecutor’s office. On top of that, Russia has destroyed over 7,000 sites in the city and region, 2,800 apartment buildings, almost 1,800 residential buildings.
4-Meanwhile, Sweden has joined Ukraine’s allies in aiding in the training of Ukrainian troops.

5-Ukraine is investigating a staggering 26,000 war crimes Russia is being investigated for a shocking 26,000 war crimes.
“Those responsible for sacking the people who have just been sacked have been sacked.”
lol!
Ukraine needs to investigate why 70% of provided weapons never made it to any soldiers, according to CBS News.
Putin has painted himself into a corner-do ya think? Can’t attack a NATO country w/o the SH(sitting)TF. Stuck there-has to save face. Is he entitled to an out, say Crimea/Donbass? The longer it goes on the higher the price. Trump would be a good resource for both sides. No way Bidet will go along.
We need some sacking right here in our own armed forces. Starting with that POS Milley.

Perhaps this is why Zelensky appears so stressed..er..stoned.:-)
“Meanwhile, Sweden has joined Ukraine’s allies in aiding in the training of Ukrainian troops.”
Sweden punches way above its weight, in terms of its defense industry. It is stepping up with new missiles as well.
“Ukraine needs to investigate why 70% of provided weapons never made it to any soldiers, according to CBS News”.
Absolutely!
Based on what CBS News is reporting most of those weapons won’t reach the troops anyway what a waste.
That’s right.
that was debunked on an earlier thread.
The person being interviewed was with a NGO that was providing humanitarian relief without any government oversight. It had nothing to do with weapons.
CBS news tells the Truth!
Thus sayeth the Putin loyalists.
Any Russian losses are to be appreciated.
I tend not to trust sources that use the phrase “highly likely” in almost every paragraph. 🤷🏻♀️
Pulling from a British tabloid.
Awesome sauce.
Those six senior Russian Generals (3 Star equivalents) have been replaced since the start of this war, not just all at once. It is a lot of high level turnover, but not as bad as it might sound.
Several one and two star Generals have also been replaced since the war started, and several others have been killed.
The Russian Military suffers from the quality of its leadership, at all levels.
Putin's problem is there is no mechanism to resolve those foundational failings.
The firings don't provide a motivation capable of resolving those initial failings.
Simply, Marxism fails because the incentives are all in the wrong places to achieve the intended result.
If Biden and would quit propping up Putin and Xi with his corrupt policies, Russia and China would implode, or start a war in hopes of avoiding their implosion.
As things are, Biden will likely provide our enemies a crutch by starting a civil war here, first....
Beat me to it.

It seems like the 70% mantra is the new talking point. I wonder if it’s by volume or by value.
Just how would you go about hauling away 70% of what is being delivered to Ukraine? Where would you haul it to so that it doesn’t get documented?
It’s possible the weapons only existed on paper and the money allocated for them has been “diverted”.
